So she used to pay for her groceries and maybe her tuition as well and on top of that save money to move to japan. And she moved here at 19 alone and everything. She actually has a dedicated video on her journey and struggles of doing it alone. Also i just remember she had early adhd symptoms but no one believed her. Everyone has struggles in life and she definitely was able to face her's

I studied in Japan for a bit and lived there. They have so many cute/amazing theme cafes. It'll really make you rarely want to cook or make your own meals at home XD. It's one of the things I miss the most about Japan (Hopefully next year I'll be back). I live in the US where fast dine ins and hipster coffee shops have pretty much taken over, so a lot of restaurants kind of look the same or have the same foods.

Starting a new job can be super overwhelming and exhausting. Standing up all day, learning lots of new things. All the input and constantly having to smile. Oh man, I feel tired in Mikan's place! But once it becomes a routine, it's totally fine. Hope you can get lots of rest in between workdays! It looks like a very cute job and a super sweet coworker.
Yess it took me 2 months for my feet to stop hurting after 12 hours of standing up and walking everyday. But once you get used to it some days can be really fun! especially when is a day without karens

From what I read on the signs, they are usually ¥500 ~ equivalent to around $5. They also have another option that is a more bigger cutesy heart design for ¥700 ~ which is $7. Honestly, sounds a *little* pricy for fruit on a stick, but then again you’re buying it for the cute aesthetic.

So if you considered the aesthetic, it is very reasonable. It is also quality fruit and created for you by cute maidens like mikan in a cute shop, so that should be priced in also. Like if you went to have dinner with a miko or oiran that would cost hundreds or thousands for one dinner becuz of the atmosphere and "hospitality".
