- The Denver Nuggets held their final news conference of the season, looking ahead to the 2024-2025 NBA season. Head coach Michael Malone, general manager Calvin Booth and owner Josh Kroenke addressed the media.

Denver is lacking bench depth and a shot creating wing that can take pressure off Jamal and Jokic. With the new CBA it seems unlikely they can win another title unless they trade MPJ or AG for more depth. KCP could chase a bag 💰💰in free agency

Denver's primary problem is, almost all of their salary cap is devoted to the 5 starters. Now, they hv to resign KCP, which complicates things and, leaves basically only veteran minimum contracts to acquire other players, IF they want to stick with the same starting 5! You're not going to get any real versatile or impact rotational players with those contracts!
get pieces that can come off the bench. christian braun is a nice piece but the rest of the bench needs fixing.
This is why small markets are not dynasties and are content with winning only one championship. You can see and feel the disconnect with Malone and booth now. Get rid of Jamal Murray. He never had a big game. Look at Luka and Kyrie. Both scored and they beat the timberwolves.
