Very helpful, as always Steve. Thanks for sharing! Will be adding this to the nodes.

Great video..... again. Maybe for another video, I would like to know your opinion about a possible performance/efficiency difference between using a specific node or a function node doing the same. A function node "feels" more efficient but specific nodes needs less pogramming.

I’ve been wondering the same thing many times.

Hi Steve, useful video, thanks but can I ask why only 480p leaves it looking all a bit fuzzy at full screen on 1920x1200

Thank you for this video. I found that the status does not work (no payload output) after the gate is closed and think that setting a flow variable of the gate status makes more sense to me. Thanks anyway and I certainly would appreciate a reply.

Is that the status node not working or the status of the gate node?
One thing I don't like about the status node is that it only shows status changes and not the current status.
What are you storing in the flow variable?

Could be more practical than switch node in some cases. Very good... 👍
