Just stumbled upon your channel looking for junk journaling in a composition notebook, and you made ut so easy to understand! I just started my RUclips channel a couple of weeks ago, and am wanting to get into junk journaling!
This looks so fun!!! I love that you put junky papers in one of the notebooks and restricted it! I love how colorful and happy your work is! New follower!!! 🌈🌸🌼👽✨🛸
I haven't commented in a while- but I've been binging on your videos again! 😆 I made an altered composition notebook, but this time tore out some pages ( i took out enough so there were 62 (31) doubled pages for one month), doubled up pages, and added washi like you do! I wanted something I feel a bit more free to just experiment and have fun in to keep October memories of all the fun things we do with my little ones.
Hi Rebecca! Can you please tell me where you got your giant metal rings to store your washi? I need a new way to store mine and I think that’s a great idea
I'm watching this and thinking wouldn't it be easier with the sewn binding to take the pages from the middle? Or is there a reason why you don't do that? Thanks.
From personal experience, taking pages from the middle will risk loosening the threads. You can take from the middle, but you have to be extra careful how you tear. I’ve loosened the threads before and made a mess of the whole journal. My advice is to tear one sheet at a time even when tearing from closer to the covers.
I also found you thru Crafty Girl. She is always bragging about how amazing you are. I think she's right, you make things seem so simple ❤️
Ahhhh that is so sweet!!! Thank you for the comment and glad you are here!!!
CCG just started doing junk journals to sell her "kits"!

Hello! I actually got this from The Reset Girl but I don't think she sells them anymore. I heard they make a large embroidery hoop that works too.
I've seen on other sites tht they glue stick their washy tape b4 edging the pages cause overtime it comes un done so I followed tht idea
Can you tell all of your viewers how you insert the smaller pages in your journal??
Hi Laura! Will do! I plan to create my next journal with the different pages. This process will be taking the journal apart and seeing in the pages.
Thank you for sharing.

@clc3897 ah ok thanks I won't do that then.
IS THERE A REASON YOU TAKE PAGES OUT? NEW SUBBIE FROM CRAFTY GIRL.
To avoid bulk?
Yes, I think it is to make space for the pages you create (to account for the thickness)
maybe its to make it a 30-31 page a day journal? 🤔
