I've gotta lot of stuff but luckily my Astro Van has enough storage for it all...
Today is the day I pack up the van for the next 42 days in the Desert far far away from home. I will be out in the desert for a long time so in this video I prep everything I need to before leaving.
By the end of this video it's time to hit the road and get some groceries.

So, the next time you visit the gas station in your astro van, just look at the dashboard fuel gauge and you'll see a picture of a gas pump with an arrow. Whichever way that arrow points, that's the side of the car with the filler cap. Just a little tip I learned awhile back. Safe Travels and Happy Van Life! We'll be doing the Van Life soon from Fairbanks Alaska and then make our way to somewhere warmer for the winter. Thanks for the awesome videos 😀

I know this is old video but, at 20:40, u mentioned u forgot which side gas cap is on, if u look at ur gas gauge, the icon will have an arrow pointing to the side it’s on.

DUDE! i'm getting ready to do a month trip to LA and San Diego and all over starting in the next week or 2!
that's why i've finally started working on my SUV build. got my seats ripped out, picking up my lumber and building my fancy platform tomorrow, then my mattress should be here on Monday. still gotta build my solar system, throw my huge solar panel on the roof, drill holes in the roof of my Acura (super excited about that lol), and then pack up and go.
if we happen to bump into each other ill give you some of the fishing lures im developing. they are a soft plastic replacement that has no plastic, is 100% biodegradable, and they're even edible.

@@bgrace27 hahaha ya, they don't taste the best, too salty. but even if we don't run into each other i can send you some of the mix in the future so you can make your own. i'm still tweaking the formula, but it's very close

Hey bro, why don't you make the shoe storage area sealed so that you can contain the smell? You could just use an ammo can to seal in the stinky ones or you can add another ammo can with holes on the BOTTOM to the exterior of the van so they can air out over night but if it rains they will be dry still.

I have been to Nevada Utah New Mexico Montana texas etc, pretty much everywhere even if it was only the airport. I almost got bit by a Rattler at Zion National Park. These adventures your doing makes me feel like I want to do my own adventure again. I'd skip Mexico RN due to politics it's sketchy since I am not there can't talk on the safety 100%. I am Randy Random I feel I might soon throw you a few bucks for your stinky ass shoes bro! GL!!GB
