Jay always says "Don't heal or support the cheater in your team" but I don't think I'd stop it if my enemies just said "cheater on your team", because on low-mid ranks a lot of people falsely call out cheaters, since you can't spectate your own guys in first person, if it's not blatant, you can't really risk that rank down imo.
In mid/high diamond I’ve had a cheater dps duo on my team and me and the other support hard threw, but tbh most cheaters I see now are duo with a mercy pocket who doesn’t care

100% think cheaters (like this one mainly) HAVE to come from cheating in Call of Duty after getting banned,they see OW2 is free to play, and don't want to play a battle royal.
Not just Call of Duty. Probably any free to play game from Fortnite to Warzone to whatever. This just happens to be their latest especially if they are not hiding like this guy
It was really bad in dbd when it was free on epic games there were so many cheaters even still but its the more subtle ones that are the most dangerous.

I love when I see a cheater and all I say is "nice cheats', they always reply with "Whos cheating". EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.
I dont know if Blizzards "anticheat" system isnt working properly or if there isnt enough people reporting the cheaters. More people really should start reporting cheaters, even if its a teammate of yours OR if you won against the cheater. And if you dont wanna do it midgame cause you aint completely sure about the person being a cheater then do it afterwards and pin the replay and then send the replay code as well (just in case). I dont get how cheaters are able to play for weeks or even months without getting banned permanently. Blizzard need to tackle this problem way better since its a bigger problem now in ow2 than it was in ow1.
You're giving Blizzard a little too much credit on smacking down cheaters. Cheating is usually prevalent due to developer neglect and Blizzard has their priorities elsewhere.
It's also not always super obvious I don't really tend to report people if there is even a shred of doubt personally as I'm not confident in my ability to identify cheaters.
@@thorthethunderer2045 thats the opposite of what you are supposed to do. If you think its possible somebody is cheating, you report them so Blizzard can investigate and determine if they are. (Assuming they do their job)
Which anticheat system? I don't think they're able or interested on prevent them anymore. I'm finding cheaters on half of my games, reporting them and every time I log in the "thank you" screen pops up. I'm getting really tired of that situation and moving on with my friends to other games.
I think blizzard can benefit greatly from the overwatch system like in valve's games
you get players to check whether a report is cheat or not at suspected periods of offense
At this point, i think it will be fun to watch all cheaters on the same lobby.

The thing is.. even if the whole lobby reports, it's not an autoban. SO if they are actually not cheating, it won't matter. YOU SHOULD ALWAYS REPORT ANYWAYS.
My guess on the reason they're using an aimbot to lock onto bodies instead of heads is because they know that if they get too many headshots, people will immediately call him out for getting that many in the first place

People rarely watch kill cams, so I feel like a lot of blatant cheaters don't get called out until it's too late.
Cheaters dont get banned. i have some in my friendlist.
I added them after i reported them to see how fast they would get banned.
Three Cheaters in total, all of them still actively playing and climbingin in ranked. One of them will hit masters soon. So yeah. I lost faith.

Tbf, the submitter said that they didn’t notice his cheating until POTG because he was just so bad.
I'm a gold/plat player and body blocking is a common tactic I use. Someone slept? Stand in front of them to block a few bullets. I do that as Tracer pretty often actually since you can blink directly to them. You can also block people in doorways, or stop a ball from charging up his swing causing him to awkwardly hang there and die. If it doesn't charge up it doesn't get the boop effect so until it does he is subject to player collision.
when someone says a guy on my team is cheating or even someone on the enemy team that I couldn't see for myself (either didn't die to them or it wasn't clear), I go back and watch the replay to see if they were
I very rarely have ppl cheating in my games, but in OW2 I've already found and reported 2 guys
Idk if it worked or not.. in OW1 every time I did it there was a message on my screen the day after that my report had effect. there has been no feedback so far this time around so maybe they're still out there cheating
but something must be working tho at Bliz, cause yesterday I got "muted in voice chat"... I don't have a mic lmfao

Holy shit I just played a game against this guy like 2 hours ago lmao, had to come back to this video to comment XD. Still not banned, still aimbotting, still terrible. Unfortunately in low ranks when you have a cheater on a team most teammate's reaction is to hard pocket/enable the cheater for the easy win. I told him he's featured in a Jay3 video lmao.

Visor + hacks is redundant. At that point you might as well not even ult.
I didnt think it could be possible but in plat i had 13 games straight where we had 2 people either disconnect or leave and never joined back. Ps all these games we were dominating, i was so defeated.
These hacks look and function exactly the same as the custom games workshop auto aim. Where it only tracks while you are holding down left click with a delay to start, so it only works with machine gun characters.
Maybe that's the point though now that I think about it. If your aimbot only hits 50% of the time and your aim has a delay it might be hard for average rank players to be sure they are even hacking. He's missing a lot of shot with the auto aim and it could pass as realistic to gold players.

I can control the recoil in silver due some thing called "Gyro-aiming" or something like that the switch has. I get an average 35% accuracy by using that

If they're not going to ban people for cheating then they need to just set up a thing where they put all the cheaters into their own little lobby but they can only play against other cheaters
jay, the person said in their submission that they didn't even notice the hacker until the very end of the game. they weren't called out so it's not weird that mercy was rezzing or healing him. ana's nanos are questionable since that may have been after being called out (if they were called out) but the entire first round and i'd guess the first 1/4 of the second round no one said anything im sure.

You've probably had lots of cheaters, you just didn't notice because they were using a "legit" config, not everyone is as dumb as this guy, prolly a child that doesn't know how to config his cheat. There's too many cheaters now because someone leaked a supposed paid cheat to a cheater forum making literally everyone have access to the cheat he's using in the video.

I mean I kinda figured that I’ve come across way more cheaters than I’ve actually noticed, but I didn’t realize it was a huge problem. I can say there have been matches where my friends and I have been suspicious of a player but we usually would chalk it up to a getting matched against a higher skill player. Kinda makes me second guess that now.

How to know if your teammate is a cheater: When you die, you death spectate your cheating teammate.
you don't get a 1st person PoV though. Can really only see for yourself on the replay after the game.
Blizzard needs to promote you to head of the cheaters committee where you can go, view, and make content on active cheaters. Basically you show hey this person is a cheater have a special link to his in game play and while he’s playing you click ban and see the teams reactions with a special code they can send you boom everyone’s happy

I just got ranked after playing for a couple hours straight, I played Cassidy, S76, and junkrat. I played OW1 back in 2016 then stopped. I started playing again when OW2 dropped. I got ranked bronze 4 and in every game I had top damage and in 4 of the games I got top kills. averaging 11k damage per game. to be honest I think I deserve a higher rank. my positioning is decent as well as my aim. my game sense could use some work but other than that I really think I deserve a higher rank.
Thing is that ranked system is working only on wins and losses for today, so unless you don't get constant wins with only few rare losses, you are not going to get higher rank. They don't use your impact, stats, value, nothing to figure out your rank level, only wins matter. Very f ked up, i agree, its just how its works now(
