My home town. I insured my first car with Vadis Insurance Brokers in the High Street. They are still there, and I still get my car insurance through them, 50 years later, even though I left Burton many years ago.
don't know what happened...anyway, my in-laws ran the Gladstone Arms in Wood Street. DIvorced my wretched husband and moved to the U.S., but I'd like to visit Burton again.

I used to live on Wood Street. I used to go to the Gladstone with my dad when I was a kid. The only landlord I remember was Rossy.
