Lived in Laughlin for 3 years almost 4, couldn't take the heat in the summer at 120 plus everyday, and you might get lucky and get a low of 118 at night. If it cooled off at night we might of stayed, but it don't. You got to be careful on the water in the summer, the way those idiots drive the jet skis (they look like ants running around). To bad the Colorado Belle closed up do to the Pandemic, never did reopen. Oatman AZ is the only thing I miss, now that was a blast. Especially when the burrows stick there heads in your car (looking for food) as your trying to creep through town LOL.
During the economic recession in 2008-2009, the Riverside Casino flew me and my mom in a private airplane from Ontario California, round trip for free, plus gave us $200 to gamble with and a $100 a piece meal stipend, and they have a most excellent buffet.. Absolutely fell in love with the place and I will be there in 2 weeks for 4 days to see Ann Wilson from the rock band Heart..
You have good taste, I have done everyone of those things except the Bear Cafe? But I will try it out the next time I go to Laughlin. Take care. Hawk out!!
Well done. I was there January and February of this year. And, also stayed at Harrah's. I see the Colorado Belle is still standing...as they never re-opened it, and likely will be knocking it down. Too bad, it was an interesting place. I stayed part of the time there overlooking the river. I too enjoyed trekking up and down that river-walk. Cheers.

Sometimes folks just have to face the thought of moving to another area where homes are more reasonable. Hint: Try OLD Bullhead City, Arizona. Rents are high, but you can STILL buy a mobile home of your own for only $100,000. That’s right, only one hundred thousand, AND that includes the land approx. 50’x100’. Seriously, you have the Colorado River is walking distance away with nine gambling casinos on the river bank on the other side in Laughlin, Nevada, 90 miles south of Vegas. There’s plenty of water sports (fishing, jet skies, etc.) and the best Springtime in the nation, IMO. An added note: Workers that do home repairs are really hard to come by in Bullhead City.
Commercial land across the river is so cheap! $26,000 buys a 50x100 square foot commercial lot with a view of the casinos on the Arizona side in Old Bullhead City, AZ. Unbelievable. New jet ski businesses are looking for room to expand. Don’t miss out.

Definitely stay at the Harrah’s! I went a few weeks ago, most things are still open. I liked that the hotel enforce mask-wearing. The elevators are limited to 4 ppl which wasn’t too had. I’ve also heard good things about the Aquarius.
Yes, this is a current video. I was in Las Vegas and then rented a car on Aug. 11th and drove to Laughlin. I stated until Aug. 16th. You will love Laughlin. Are you flying into the Bullhead city airport or driving from where you are? You'll love Laughlin.
Is the rental apartments as expensive as they were when I was living in Bullhead city in 1992 in July,August, and early September? I returned to the casino town of Jackpot, Nevada because the rent for the employees was much lower than Bullhead city, and Laughlin!
Hi, I don't know about the apts. but I think when I was looking at home prices I was wow'd by how high they were so I think the apts are still pretty high. You were smart to move. Jackpot Nv sounds adorable. I should take a trip over.
I love Laughlin iv done everything you mentioned on here the best thing to do is BBQon the river and take out the sea doos and just stay in the water then HIT the casinos at night
Can a Jet Ski be rented to ride at the Harrah beach and to go in to Camp Davis for a couple hours to bbq do u need reservations? And is it hard to find a bbq grill?
You can rent a jet ski on the beach at Harrahs but it is very very expensive. It's better to drive over the bridge to Bullhead city az to rent one across the river. There are many many rental places along on the other side much cheaper. I didin't see any grills at Harrahs.
I like the list but I don't know .....Kinda thinking that gambling in the casinos would be more fun than eating at Black Bear Diner? Agreed with the other 6 things to do as they look super fun.
