thank you for hosting us! drove all the way from California and packed up and got out by noon monday morning. Watched the eclipse from the Exxon on 29 and the clouds parted perfectly for the whole event! All the Texas locals we met were soo kind and nice and we hope to visit again someday soon!

Hello, from Cincinnati, Ohio. Even though the City is not inside the Path Area of the projected Solar Eclipse It is vitually in intersection with the estern line of the Path. Perhaps the Eclipse in Cincinnati wont be authentically total, but it could be virtualy total by its tangency of location. I live within the walking distance to BURNETT WOODS off the U.C. Campus where the Memorial to The TWIN SISTERS CANNON ( Replicas of the Originals located in Texas) in 1836 was denoted to GENERAL SAM HOUSTAN in the Fight for TEXAS INDEPENDENCE from MEXICO!

I will be watching this event from my own back yard , if Storms do not block the view , I pray everyone is safe , and is respectful to each other and cleans up their trash before leaving the event , things may get crazy with Cern wanting to start back up during the solar eclipse and someone suppose to be shooting rockets in the sky and news said something about Cicadas invasion too , I have to say , every day is a new adventure on this Planet !
