Nope, the exosuit is lifting the weight, but it is still transferring the weight to his shoulder so he is still putting some physical work into lifting the weight, unless it's a full-body suit the wearer will still use some of their own strength. The point of these are to take some strain off individual muscle groups to reduce fatigue.
@DoIgopyat what? you are just making stuff up. an exoskeleton can certainly make you lift a lot more weight that you could without it. it depends how the thing is built, but if it covers your whole body and actually makes contact with the ground it could make you lift technically infinite weight (only limited by the strength of the motors). in this case the arm is resting on him, so it's also limited by his shoulder/back/leg strength, but he should still be able to lift way more than normal.
Subbed! And did you use a wiper motor? Looks very familiar lol or door regulator 🕵️also I guessing since it high up on the arm are cables used? Great job man looks great
Now look up 100lbs curls and you'll realize monstrous 250lbs+ guys are swaying to curl 100lbs. This guy does it with the arm with good form for reps. That thing is like a super suit
Size of the muscle has nothing to do with strenght, fiber size does, people might lift 100lbs fast but struggle with slow 50lbs, because the fast and slow twitch fibers have different strenght, big guys might have size because of both the fibers being evenly as big, which is why some smaller guys can lift more weight faster, because they only have developed fast twitch fibers

There's not a single "pulley" in the system... and there is much more than just a gear. Worm drive motors can't be pushed in reverse, and achieving free movement without the motor running is truly the most impressive part. And it's only a $19 windshield wiper motor 😅 Ill agree it's not practical, but neither is pretty much any exo-skeleton or human-based robot.

Wonder how an elden ring medieval like malenia prosthetic arm exoskeleton would work like on a Da Vinci like simpler system on a unalloyed gold forged arm
Mechanical prosthetics have gotten impressively good in the last decades showing a way in wich pre modern prosthetics could theoretically have been Made; in Malenias case Its much More difficult to imagine a functional prosthetic for a complete arm without anything left to take input from. However the nature of the unaloyed gold needles and such aswell as Malenias godhood implies the posibility of invasive methods being used without fear of infection. In the 20th Century muscle powered prosthetics were researched on wich mechanicaly hooked muscles to polley systems that transfered the movement directly. So theoretically Malenia's back muscles could have piercings tied to polleys to power the arm. Also bien gold already the material the prosthetic could just be mio electric and mechanical, with the inputs being given by electrodes inside get back
Difficult to do, if the exotic skeleton extends to far you risk damaging the occupant, also have to have some way to dampen the inertia of the punch, hitting an object at Mach speed would produce a tremendous amount of energy, some would go into whatever your punching but the rest would have to either be absorbed by the suit or the person, normally this would be fine at normal speeds and velocity, but at Mach speeds weellllll imagine a human arm hitting a brick wall at Mach 1, it'd be splattered all of the place, messy and not very useful. We have the technology to build these suits, I'm sure militaries are building them, there's just alot of math and science that goes into it.
I don't believe this is anything more than some plastic shell strapped on He clearly looks as if he's having to struggle to fully curl that bumbrell. And the dumbbell looks likes it's about 10kg. Or 22lbs to the laman lol how many inches is the speed of sound duhhh
How much are you offering to bet?? Most homemade exo-s are "just pneumatics"... That's the most unique part of the entire build- it moves freely without any resistance- which nobody has done.
Nah, this thing would just be dead weight. You rarely ever need to curl anything this heavy in life, and in the rare instances you do there are others factors much limiting that its weight. Not to mention the extra cost of having to arm a bunch of soldier with exoskeletons when hitting the gym is more effective in every way
