Checked on update: sales increased by 450% as a result of the "Shark Tank effect", all debt was eliminated by the end of 2019, and 2023 revenue is 5 million. Good for him
Lori Greiner may have been correct in her belief that Nexersys will be able to clear the hurdle of an imbalanced balance sheet and cross the finish line to success. Only time will tell whether this up and coming company has enough steam to keep going, or if one of the big names in exercise equipment will gobble it up or squash it, as Mr. Wonderful is so fond of saying, like a cockroach. As the years went by, the company was able to become profitable. All debt was eliminated by the end of 2019. They added several products including a boxing trainer and a budget priced ($295) cross fit trainer. They still sell "industrial" versions for gyms, too. The products appeared in the Netflix series Cobra Kai. As of January, 2023, annual revenue is $5 million.
The Nexersys website reports that since appearing on Shark Tank, sales have increased by 450%, a possible result of the well-known "Shark Tank effect." The increase in sales has allowed the company to become profitable months before predicted. Many of the Convertible Subordinated Notes were converted to equity, reducing the debt load, and the company continues to service the debt via cash flow. The social media presence is strong, and Jones reports expanding sales into several international markets

According to the company website, they went up by 450% after the episode aired. This allowed them to become profitable months earlier than predicted. Not only were they able to reduce their debt load, but they also converted many of their Convertible Subordinated Notes to equity. By the end of 2019, they had cleared all their debt, which is an incredible feat, seeing as how they weren’t even profitable when they were on the show.
Not really, most businesses we see on here are bootstrapped, low debt businesses. This company is like many others in the home fitness space in that they have very high debt ratios and low solvency ratios. It’s expensive to operate and scale but it is not nearly as grim as the sharks portrayed. None of them were going to invest 2m for 10% so they played it up for drama.
@@EGarrett01 yes, I learned not to invest in a company that was drowning in debt to the tune of 7.5 million. If you learned anything new in this particular episode you're not very bright.

I have one in my gym where I live. Been training some basic combos at 1 to 2 to 3 to 4 to 6 to 7 round intervals each round takes a full day to recover so I'm on week 3. The biggest reason keeping it real is because I train on it times at 330am, so I want have to worry about others. Every single workout I'm getting better & toughen my wrist/ankcle areas from otherwise injuries. Solid A.
I love this entrepeneur! He wasn't fazed on his game even when Kevin was honestly, pretty harsh on him. The product was great, in my opinon - could see a huge market for it. I'm happy to see they succeeded, dispite this adversity!

Yes, I totally agree! Shark Tank's been around for more than decade. Just as some (criminal) lawyers make their clients go through a trial-rehearsal, they need to do a mock presentation and let actors play the part of each shark!!
This game would be boring. For $300 you can buy an oculus with a large select of workout programs and games. The thrill of the fight blows this away and its an excellent workout.
