The Spider-Men, Peter Parker and Miles Morales, enter new chapters in their lives as they balance their responsibilities as protectors of Marvel’s New York. As Harry Osborne, Peter’s best friend, returns into his life, and Miles looks to build his future beyond high school, the relationship between our heroes is tested and strained as the Symbiote appears to threaten them, the city, and the ones they love.

I really love how in the "Be greater. Together." scene the symbiote was taking over but Miles' bioelectricity stopped it.

I’m loving the tension between Peter and Miles. Miles feeling like Peter’s kind of abandoning him, and Peter acting uncharacteristically selfish and aggressive because of the symbiote…
Finally someone mentions it, Miles looks rather jealous of Harry and the time he’s taking away from him and Peter.
Makes sense as Peter filled the role as an older brother/mentor once his dad died.
As such it’s no surprise that Miles wouldn’t be happy with someone coming between that. Especially so suddenly as well.
Add in the fact that Peter is shown being rather dismissive and rude to miles due to the suit in the gameplay trailer and you’ve got some great tension.
@@xavierrivera3407 the symbiote typically amps up Peter’s anger and irritability, too. Leads him to be quicker to lose his temper, and get physical.

My kids are going to be born into a world with two incredible spider-man trilogies where the sequel is told in two parts featuring multiple spider-men, one a game trilogy and one a movie trilogy. That makes me happy.

When Harry says, “I got a second chance, I’m going to take advantage of that,” you can see the psychological damage from Doc Ock, the skepticism. Caught it on my 3rd rewatch

This feels truly like Spider-Man. The atmosphere, the voice acting, everything is perfect. Insomniac knows how its done.

As a child in middle school I used to play the Arkham games and it would provide so much happiness. Now this is coming out it makes me happy to think there’s a kid out there that is going to feel the same thing

this looks absolutely incredible. Didn't play the OG spiderman or Miles Morales on PS, but when they came to steam I copped both as soon as they dropped and I didn't think anything could beat them. now we're here and I've never seen a better trailer for a game than this. This is what happens when devs care about the game they make and not just a money grab.

Agreed! He needs to confront the man who took his father from him, especially with all the BS Martin Li pulled in the first game.
I imagine that during the first act of the game, Peter will help Miles and stop him from the dark side with the whole Martin Li situation. Then in the 2nd or 3rd act of the game, Miles will do the same for Peter with the symbiote situation

If you remember at the rally after the explosion miles tried to confront a demon hang member but ended getting shoved down and almost killed by the goon. Martin LI had a chance to end miles right there but he let him live now miles is back for round 2 and this time he ain't vulnerable nor powerless. Martin LI is about to catch some Spider-hands now lol. 3 years worth of 5 years worth of pain and grief from miles.

I can’t wait. This looks like it could be the best Insomniac Spider-Man game yet. Being able to switch between Miles and Pete. Harry will finally play a bigger part in the story. Peter will have the venom symbiote suit. I’m hoping Miles gets a lot of screen time here. His game was so good but so short.

Ehh I didn't like his game that much. They should've made it longer and added more characters and bosses. The whole thing felt like side quests

This trailer has gotten me so much more hyped for the game now because of all of this:
-It definitely seems like we're going to get a fight between Miles and Peter which will be so dope (although I do wish they gave Miles a better haircut).
-Peter's new face looks so good here and is honestly winning me over now.
-Looks like Venom is definitely going to have originated from space based on that shot at 1:00 and then have been experimented on by Oscorp which is a neat blend of Venom's space and scientific origins from different comics.
-Either this trailer is definitive confirmation that Harry will be Venom or this is one of the biggest misdirection's I've ever seen lol. Assuming that Harry is Venom though, the idea of Venom twisting Harry and his mother's dream of helping the world in order to control Harry is so intriguing.
-It seems like they pushed MJ's design towards looking more like how she's depicted in the comics (with letting her hair down and the changed face) and she looks so much better than she did in the last game because of it.
-That shot at 1:14 of MJ hiding from Peter also makes me wonder if we'll be getting a mission where we have to hide/run from Peter after he loses control of the symbiote. That would be an MJ mission that I'd actually be down for, especially if they leaned into making Peter a stalker type of enemy like you'd see in horror games such as Nemesis from Resident Evil.
-It's also interesting that they're having Miles confront Lee in this game after Lee killed Miles' dad in the last one.

Nah I like the haircut they gave miles. Also I really don’t think insomniac are pulling an Arkham knight and tryna do some misdirection with venom and Harry. They’ve been setting it up since spm 1 and miles so I feel like they gotta stick with it. Obv only time will tell but it’s so obv. I do really hope there’s a miles vs Peter boss fight and even a mission where it’s actually made creepy where like someone said, Peter stalks MJ with the symbiote and you gotta escape.

The game overall feels like a darker tone, even the character models look more mature and from that alone you can feel the depth of emotion.

Oh, the hype from this!!! The story, the abilities, characters, villains & see how the Symbiote affecting Peter & Miles with Li just to see how far they’re both willing to go
Just like with the first game's trailers, I feel like an excited kid getting ready to watch the old Spider-Man cartoons with my dad 😭 this looks amazing. It looks like Insomniac is doing it again.
I love the new designs for the characters, INCLUDING Peter. Its grown on me enough here. Marvel finally settled on giving Miles his dreads, MJ looks amazing with the long hair. I'm still on the fence about Harry having Venom, but here we are
Although this might be a switcheroo with Harry using Goblin tech (based on him throwing something out the window. Possibly a Pumpkin Bomb) and they have to take down his dad who has Venom. That's a lot less likely. Who knows. I'm moreso curious about how the symbiote will be passed around.
Them introducing Grizzly (who I only know the name of cuz my dad was surprised when I put the trailer on), and bringing back Mr. Negative for Miles content??? This is about to be awesome. It needs to be a long game, and hopefully it is

Looks incredible, and the fact that the cutscenes are realtime for all those sweet seamless gameplay transitions makes it even more impressive. Like, amazing draw distance, the lighting, the effects, the insanely well done face models. The further Insomniac take these games the better they look, and so far, the better they play. We'll have to see what the story fully has in store for us, but it's safe to say that from a gameplay perspective and visually, this is the best Spider-Man game and it's not even out 😂 they one upped themselves with Miles in those areas, hopefully we get thee trifecta of gameplay, visual and storytelling improvements to make this the best in the series and potentially the best in all of Spider-Man's gaming library, I'm staying as hesitant as possible with the amount of hype building, and know they won't do a bad job, but if it turns out as good as it seems to be, it's gonna be wild

I'm so confused that so many people missed this reference. There are tons of references to tasm in insomniac Spider-Man games.

That’s definitely Harry at the end, it can’t be Peter because they made a statue of Peter and Miles fighting Venom for the collectors edition. Harry will most likely be Venom’s main host in the game until u defeat him at the end and Harry dies or gets sent to prison and than there will be an end credit scene of Venom finding Eddie or vice versa.
I still can't get over the fact that they changes Peter's face to be much younger, and now they changed MJ's face to be much older.
