Keep up the great work and many many thanks for the useful video. This is my very first RUclips channel where I set notification bell and it is totally worth it!
Hi, minute 10:00 what about if e.g. if the Type of Seat is A or B and when it is A there is no further details but when it is B then there is a B-Z and a B-Y or so? Second Question: lets assume I have a end product with over 1000 configurations but the production process itself does not vary a lot when it comes to physical components, so a lot of processes are just based on different "machine settings" - does it still make sense to introduce the variant configuration? and Third Question: can I use VC also without a BoM or super BoM? Thank you in advance!! BR
Great efforts, you teach in such manners that topic become simple. If possible please make one descrete manufacturing real senario. We are ready to watch long video too.
Clear and efficient as usual. You have shown us the art of configuration in PP with best practice. Just one question, is it possible to adding extension in configurable material 'BIKE' with one of characterstic value selected ? For example in case : suspension type = MONO Material = BIKE_MONO ?
Hello @SAPwithIK Sir, Thank you for sharing the video. It is very useful. My query - In my case, sales order is not applicable in SAP. I want to use variant configuration just for Design and Routing. How can I directly apply the configuration profile on Super BOM and Routing to get the components of one variant?
Sir, please advise me how should I proceed if for example my super BOM will consist of 50 position or more and routing too. How should I load dependecies ? Manually or can I do it in bulk? Also please tell me, do I create a configuration profile only for Finished product? And what happens if I choose material type other than Kmat and Finished product when creating a material? Where i can send donations for this perfect video&))
Amazing content, thanks for your efforts sir, I have a suggestion please take a real-life scenario and create a complete cycle for the discrete and process industry it would be a great help
In Configuration profile - Configuration parameters - Process - you have used Plnd/Prod.Order, what will happen or why i should not use Sales order/Order BOM? Please clarify
Hi, Thanks for sharing the video. Is it possible for a sales person to see only those parts which are set with object dependency. I mean when he select SG, only those items which are SG configured should only be visible. If you could let us know, then it will be of great help. Thanks once again.
How we can restrict the user from doing wrong selection of characteristics, meaning if Module SG is selected then Gear will be shown that are applicable for SG only. please suggest
You can try using Variant Tables, in which only valued combinations are maintained for the variables. So if user selects an incorrect combination it gives an inconsistency error.
‘Super Thanks’ has been enabled if you wish to support the channel. Thank you!
How to do that
Both Part 1 and 2 videos are nicely explained. Especially when you explain it with examples that helps a lot. Thank you!
The entire end to end PP cycle was done with the help of your videos.
Thank you so much.....❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for your efforts. Your content is always helpful.

Thank you so much, being an SAP SD Consultant, wanted to understand Variant Configuration concept. Your video helps in understanding it clearly.

your explanation is very good , can you please make another video of Variant Pricing , how the pricing is done in Variant Configuration.
Great video! Do you also have an example where transaction SM30 is included?
Amazing content, thanks for your efforts sir, I have a suggestion please take a real-life scenario and create a complete cycle for the discrete and process industry it would be a great help
Thanks for the suggestion. Not everyone likes lengthy videos and this is one of the reason to make shorter videos topic wise.
sir i am not able to see results icon in my sales order as displayed in your video
Tq very much sir👌
Super Thanks
In Configuration profile - Configuration parameters - Process - you have used Plnd/Prod.Order, what will happen or why i should not use Sales order/Order BOM? Please clarify
If you need a sales order BOM for every sales order line item, you can use the option sales order/order BOM.
Thank you for the video. Can you share some ideas on VC for make to stock order type.Your suggestions would be valuable
VC for MTS scenario can be managed by variant material planning.
Hi,
Thanks for sharing the video. Is it possible for a sales person to see only those parts which are set with object dependency.
I mean when he select SG, only those items which are SG configured should only be visible.
If you could let us know, then it will be of great help.

OD’s are set at BOM level and you may check the object dependency in the configurator screen as well using the green inverted Z icon below it.
How we can restrict the user from doing wrong selection of characteristics, meaning if Module SG is selected then Gear will be shown that are applicable for SG only. please suggest
I don’t think we can achieve this via standard but if proper object dependencies are assigned to the components, there shouldn’t be an issue.
You can try using Variant Tables, in which only valued combinations are maintained for the variables. So if user selects an incorrect combination it gives an inconsistency error.
Please do the same for AVC
Contacted via email.Please respond
Can you explain a cto and eto scenario in vc
