AI IS HORRIBLE. HOW DARE YOU. Just kidding! This is the best use of AI for photo work - using it to help fix small things in real photography. Great example. I havent really played around with the new PS AI stuff. But I can say if you did the selection for the pimple, then did fill -> content aware, it would most likely produce a similar result. That generative fill for the hair was pretty impressive!

AI AI AI AI AI AIA IAIAI AIAI - all we hear nowadays, huh? Haha... yeah so I have done fill -> content aware on marquee'd sections in the past, but I still feel as if it leaves a bit of "volume" or depth to skin. It works great on backgrounds and other parts of the image but not so great on flattening skin in that sense... but, despite that, I think the Generative Fill is definitely a "nice to have" and you can still get by with content-aware for sure. I like the options - thank goodness we have the ability!

You can get it with any Creative Cloud subscription and installing it from the Creative Cloud app. I hate the CC subscription model, but things like this make it kind of worth it!
