Love your vlog, played it while journaling. Its my first time using hobonichi this year, currently using one piece original, and loving it. After so much thought, i got the cousin for 2024. Honestly, was going to go with original again at first but decided against it, just for the main reason that i wanted to try a bigger space. I have a tiny handwriting and i don't write that much everyday so a bit afraid that the cousin is too big for me but i decided to get it because i wanted to erase a "what if" in my mind.Planning to add a reading entry on my daily pages as well so i guess the space would be enough. If the cousin turned out to be too big for me, then i guess i'll go back to the a6 for 2025. This year i've worked out not being pressured on filling up space which is a big problem for me. And i could say i'm doing well. I just tell myself that not everyday a lot happened or i had a lot to say... sometimes its okay for my entry to be short. This is me oversharing but i love your video. ❤

I’m happy to see you’ve been journaling with me :) I understand completely what you mean, I’ve also been using a passeport size journal and it does felt small sometimes, that’s why I moved to the cousin. And you’ll see, it’s actually a lot of fun! I’d say it’s definitely ok to leave a lot of breathing room in your A5 journal, I think it’s only natural that some days are less eventful than others. And if you don’t feel like writing, you can always put more decoration! Reading entry is a great idea! There’s endless possibilities, and that’s the beauty of it ^^
