What a great job! Your magnificent R75/5 deserves a pair of Vattier racing exhausts, the noise and driving pleasure is incomparable.

I am currently restoring a 1971 R75/5. I have really enjoyed watching these videos over and over again. Thanks so much for making them

Ha ha!! Yes, I like to make a new wiring harness,
protecting the lines and with relays. Normally in the seventies, it was very primary. Best regards Loscar.

On my 1972 R74/5 performed most of these tasks. This R75 has Nikasl cylinders. These are truly great how to Airhead videos!

I am trying to get started the same bike and went to turn on the fuel to the carbs and both started to drain fuel. Does anyone know why?

needle and seat need cleaning out or just take off the float bowl and see there isn't any rubbish in there. make sure they are not slightly tilted either. That's what l do on mine.

@@LoscarMotorcycles I see. It is pretty primitive wiring from the factory. I am doing a 1971. When I was younger, and single, I could do a total reassembly (and cleaning, not restoration) in 40 hours. That was my 1983 R80/ST. I didn't like the frame though. The /5 is the perfect bike for me. I had the frame powder coated in concrete gray, and will leave the bottom end alone. There was no corrosion on the engine, but the frame and wiring was a disaster. Thanks for the vid, it will help.
