This was really helpful to me, I've been complaining about the router because my downloads has been slow because I've been connecting to the 2.4 Ghz when having a good network coverage in my residence. But after watching this video I changed to 5ghz and my downloads Has been extremely fast. Because of you am now enjoying what I paid for, thanks man.

The 5GHz band is generally less congested than the 2.4GHz band, so you should experience faster speeds when you're connected to it. However, the 5GHz signal is also shorter range than the 2.4GHz signal, so you may not be able to connect to it as far from your router.
If you're having trouble connecting to the 5GHz band, or if your download speeds are still not as fast as you'd like, you can try the following:
Move your router to a more central location in your home.
Make sure that there are no obstructions between your router and your devices.
Upgrade your devices to Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6 if they're not already.

Yes, the MTN 4G MiFi has two SMA female connectors for connecting external antennas. You can find these connectors on the back of the router.
To connect an external antenna, you will need an antenna cable with SMA male connectors on both ends. You can purchase these cables online or at most electronics stores.
Once you have the antenna cable, simply screw one end of the cable into the connector on the router. Then, screw the other end of the cable into the connector on the antenna.
Once the antenna is connected, you should see an improvement in the signal strength of your router. You can test the signal strength by using a WiFi analyzer app on your smartphone.
Here are some tips for getting the best results from your external antenna:
Place the antenna in a high location, such as on the roof or on a hill.
Orient the antenna in the direction of the 4G tower.
Avoid placing the antenna near metal objects or other sources of interference.

Hi there! The numbers on the back of your MTN ZLT S50 router are most likely the default Wi-Fi password and SSID (network name). This video actually covers changing the default password. In most cases, it's recommended to change the default password for better security.

Please my battery doesn’t last and I have charged it for long. My question is, when charging the power bank, do you have to switch it on before it starts charging or it can be switched off and still be charging even without connecting it to the router itself.

To update the firmware for your MTN ZLT S50 router, follow these steps:
Go to the MTN website and download the latest firmware for your router.
Extract the firmware file to your computer.
Connect your router to your computer using an Ethernet cable.
Open a web browser and enter the IP address of your router in the address bar. The default IP address is 192.168.1.1.
Log in to your router using the username and password that you configured when you first set it up.
Go to the Firmware page.
Click the Browse button and select the firmware file that you downloaded in step 1.
Click the Upgrade button.
Your router will restart and the firmware will be updated.
If you can't find the firmware update page on your router's settings web page, it's possible that you're using an outdated version of the firmware. To fix this, you can try updating the firmware manually using the steps above.
If you're still having trouble updating the firmware, please contact MTN customer support for assistance.

I have gotten one of this and is working in Ghana but I sometimes get prompts like connected without internet intermittently and then comes back to connected. What could be the problem and also what settings would you recommend for me to have a very fast internet connection in Ghana.

The occasional "connected without internet" prompt can be frustrating. Here are a couple of things that could be causing it:
Signal Strength: Cat 6 routers are built for speed, but they can be sensitive to signal strength. Check the signal bars on your device - a weak signal can cause intermittent connections. Try moving the router to a different location with a clearer view of the cell tower.
MTN Network: It's possible there are temporary network issues in your area. You could try contacting MTN customer support to see if they are aware of any outages.
As for settings for a faster connection, there's not a whole lot you can adjust on the router itself to dramatically boost speed. However, here are a couple of tips:
Make sure you have a good signal: As mentioned above, this is key.

Try repositioning your router, it looks like signal reception is not good where it is.

I can't atest to that, because I haven't checked it out, but lots of factors are to be considered, like power-rating of the router and voltage rating too, the power bank of the router lasts for about four hours.

I see that you bought your ZLT S50 router from Vodafone Gh, but it's not working with your MTN SIM card. I'm not sure why this is happening, but it's possible that the router is not compatible with MTN's network.
I would recommend contacting Vodafone Gh to see if they can help you troubleshoot the issue. You can also try contacting MTN to see if they can provide you with a compatible router.
In the meantime, you can try using a different SIM card in your router to see if that works. If you have a friend or family member with an MTN SIM card or Vodafone Sim, you could ask them to lend it to you for testing purposes.

I understand that you're having trouble enabling both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi networks on your MTN 4G Router.
According to the search results I have, it is possible to enable both networks simultaneously. This is called Simultaneous Dual Band. However, it seems that your router may not be configured to do this.
To check if your router is configured for Simultaneous Dual Band, you can log into the router's settings page. The login information is usually printed on the back of the router.
Once you're logged in, look for the Wireless settings. You should see an option for Dual Band. If the option is set to Selectable Dual Band, then you will need to change it to Simultaneous Dual Band.
Once you've made this change, save the settings and try enabling both networks again. If this doesn't work, then you may need to contact MTN support for help.
Here are some additional troubleshooting tips:
----Make sure that your devices are compatible with 5GHz WiFi.
----Try moving your router closer to your devices.
----Restart your router and your devices.

No We won't laugh, because knows all. But in regards to your question it won't work, it only works with MTN SIM, you can try getting Universal Router that allows multiple SIM.

Your question is not very clear
Is it that 5GHz wifi is not showing up on your device or how to enable it on the router
To enable it on the router go to WIFI settings and enable the 5GHz wifi, and fill up the other parameters
Go to the WIFI settings of your device
The SSID for the 5GHz wifi should show up, provided your device supports 5GHz wifi [ 802.11ac]
If your laptop/PC does not support 5GHz wifi, you can buy USB adapter for 5GHz wifi, which will allow you to connect to the router 5GHz wifi
For an android phone, the 5GHz wifi SSID should show up in the WIFI settings of your device, if supported
However, in some old phones, you may have to change the channel number of the router to like 139 to 160
That would allow the 5GHz wifi band to show up on the phone
To find out if your phone supports 5GHz wifi, you can install and run a device info app

Which password did you use
The password is always written on the body of the router which says "WLAN KEY" unless it has been changed which you can reset the router, by pressing the reset button.
