Keep doing what you`ve been doing, your trips are great. Don`t change! Thanks for the work and effort you put in it for us.
Thanks for the kind comment. Makes it work while❤️
Love the camping looks great fun
Love Keld, fab little village 👍
It is. Never ventured there before. Loved it❤️
No Gino but the food looked lush! Keep the videos coming 👌🏽⚡️🏍️🏕️
No. He was a damn miss😭
very pleasant trip
Yeah lovely relaxing trip (apart from bloody Midges) thanks ❤️
I'm looking at going on my first bike camping trip. Good to see a fellow north east biker for inspiration
Thanks. Hope you enjoy it. Priority. Warmth at night👍🏽
@@Two_Wheel_Trips just knowing what to pack as I'm thinking of taking my partner pillion as she has only been on the bike once lol
@@stephenlloyd02 very difficult that. Good luck🤣
Midges do not like garlic so if you do then have a little more than usual, baring that smoke is the only other option apart from the usual creams so the smidge cones are good but make all your gear smell of smoke, that's due to it always blowing towards you no matter where you sit.
bravo 👏👏👏
Not sure if you've done one already but a video discussing what you bring with you on your camping trips would be a good video
Hi, I did do one on the KTM but it turned out a bit shit. It’s part of my imminent plans to do a garage and gear video. (And new bike)🤪
Not one for commenting, but I think your vids are a perfect mix of riding, banter, cooking and camping. Keep doing what your doing and I'll keep watching. Cheeyars 😊
Thanks very much Richard.
Any motorbike camping trip gets my vote. Love your videos. Many thanks for taking the time and effort to share
Thanks for the kind words glad you enjoy them👍🏽
Another great video. Always informative and interesting.
Thanks John!
Hi Pete great video as always great to see some new places to ride and camp to love the channel great work thanks for sharing
Steven
My pleasure, I'm glad the work pays off.
Very nice video! Perfect balance of riding, scenery, cooking and even some beverages!!
Thanks appreciate the comments👍🏽
Keep doing what you're doing. I enjoy it all
Thanks Martyn
Keep doing what you doing I like to watch for inspiration I go camping with the motorbike but mainly in Europe, stay safe and look forward to the next one
Thanks, will do! Really Appreciate the comment.
Great vid marra, either for me I love to do both, keep em coming 😎👍
Awesome, thank you!
Another great video and find them to be just the right balance between bike riding and camping, dont change a thing! I've camped twice in Keld in June, once when walking the Coast 2 Coast and the second time when walking the Pennine Way, never again as the midges were horrendous even in the morning when we were trying to pack up.
Aye they were a pain and very unusual for Yorkshire. Haven’t ever had any bother with them in past.
Fab video Pete, thanks for sharing 😄😄
Cheers Martin
Always wild camping mate.
Absolutely fantastic vid of my favourite campsite in the dales 👏 I’m actually off there again myself in a few weeks 👍
Thank you very much. It’s a beautiful place. I only discovered it on that video. Will be back there.
Love these vlogs, bike sounds awesome 😊
Thank you very much. Glad you like them❤️
Blimey Lad! Thought you was getting a bit giddy wi that dark stuff! Ace Videos! Get down Big Lad! Hell ya av mi in ruptures!!! il Sithee, Graham.
Haha measures were a bit long I think. Poor judgement🤣 thanks for the comments mate.
I only discovered your channel a few weeks back but subscribed straight away. Great videos well filmed and my favourites are the touring and camping ones. I look forward to more in the future and I hope the drone wasn't badly damaged. All the best and stay safe.
Thanks very much. The drone “woke up “ after 3 days in rice. Miraculously🤣
Just stunning as always.... need to look that place up... Passed close to there last weekend on my way to Scarborough...
On the Lambretta?
@@Two_Wheel_Trips of course… 280 miles each way… best trip of the year…
@@BettaGettaBretta brilliant. Do you know Paul Crudace by any chance? Mate of mine. Has scooters.
@@Two_Wheel_Trips sorry no…
You should make playlists for your series trips so there easier to watch for new people who come to the channel
Good ldea, I'll look into that...
Just keep the same mixture, riding, wild camping, the crack with mates and no background elevator music like some do, when on the move just the sound of the engine, wind, commentary 👍🏻
Elevator music🤣
Great video, it kicked my arse into gear to get out tonight, thank you.
Thanks Martin. Have a good trip.
Thinking you have the style of filming and mix of biking, camping and cooking pretty much spot on - really enjoy the cooking and camping set ups and all the bits and bobs you seem to produce from luggage which somehow ends up on my ‘items to buys’ list. The group camps are great also - banter and the banks of trangia’s. Personally - really enjoy your content and very much appreciate the time and effort you take in sharing. Keep them coming mate.
I appreciate that! Thanks for taking the time to support.
Glad I found your channel, local voice. Wild camping for me mate. Our group are just starting off doing it so good to pickup tips etc
Welcome aboard, and I hope you have fun with your travels!
Just to say I like what your channel offers, I’m in the north east of Scotland and get out camping on the bike when I can and when I can’t I’ll just watch you doing it !! 😂😂 best wishes for your future adventures
Thank you very much ❤️
Wild camping for me mate.
Love the humour
Thanks 🤣
The Otter pools is a great spot to camp in Galloway Forrest, has picnic benches next to the stream, cracking little spot.
Was there yesterday camping ❤️
@@Two_Wheel_Trips nice one, is it in this video as I'm commenting as I'm watching it 👍
@@mototripperuk no. The next wild camping video.
@@Two_Wheel_Trips look forward to it, cheers 👍
Those midges are a pain in the arse - you endured them well - your cooking skills whilst camping is impressive - and even the ice with the rum n coke - well done that man ♂️
Haha thank you ❤️
Love the wild camping Pete, also love that KTM - similar power to my Multisrada Enduro, now looking for bike no5 , think I would like a Suzuki GT750 to add to the collection, take care pal 👍🏍🏍👍
Thanks John. Lovely bike the GT750 kettle. 👍🏽
Hello, sorry but I don’t know your name, I must comment on your tea making and say that I find it amazing how you can brew tea in milk and water 🤔
Please try brewing the tea in water only, and I think you would find it tastes much much better adding the milk after brewing, it does take a few goes to judge the tea strength to get it how you like it 😉 🤣🤣🤣🤪
Sorry I don’t mean to be judgmental but noting that you were a real coffee drinker, I thought you may prefer a proper cup of tea!
I like your camping videos 👌🏻
Kind regards,
DCT Dave & Butty Bach 🙂
Haha thanks for that. I’ve tried it and went back to my (very) old ways. 😂
Another great video good to see new places shame about the drone😢definitely have to give the dales a visit 👍👌
Well recommended that site. Very deep into the dales. Take Smidgy spray. Got no bites.
The Helm tents have got a good reputation, I have the Terra Nova pioneer 2 and its not bad either.
I hope you managed to get your dji fixed 👌.
In regards to what your viewers like to see, this vid covers everything I like to see, tent and sleeping set up, or a view of the BnB rooms if you stay in one, great views when riding, what you cook at camp or eat in a BnB, and it's nice to see what beers you have too lol.
Cool vid, I'll see you on your next adventure ✌️ 🤙 🤟.
Happy Easter 🐣 btw 👍
Thanks for the kind words Rich ❤️
PS. The drone lives!
Stonesdale lane with its 2 hairpins and the B6270 great roads.
Fantastic. I’ve flew past that road hundreds of times this was the first time I actually turned down it. I was blown away.
So glad I've found this channel. This video really made me want to go on my own camping trip. Unfortunately I'm on a 125...
That makes no difference whatsoever. Get out there whatever you ride. Stick to ultralight backpacking gear you’ll be fine 👍🏽
@@Two_Wheel_Trips I'll have to find somewhere to go, can't wait to start!
@@TomsterTBurt whereabouts are you? I’m sure there will be local sites nearby to do a trial run. Get some throw over soft panniers and a roll bag for the seat to start with.
@@Two_Wheel_Trips I've been looking at those, and south Essex
Snods Edge.. I used to live a mile from there and still based a few miles from there now. Lovely to see Stanhope ford.. my missus and I sit there with a coffee watching the wildlife at least once a week. Enjoy your laid back style. I,m new to motorcycle camping at 66yrs and channels like yours are a great help. Keep it up Regards Stuart Bell
I’d love to see how you manage to fit all that on your bike! I’m struggling to fit the essentials on my bike for a weekend camping Trip I’m planning 🙈
I’m busy compiling a packing video so that should help. 👍🏽
Recommend Raiders Road Otta Pools for a wild camp spot and Forrest road ride
Was there yesterday. Lovely location.
Not long got back from Scotland I camped the first night but my god it was cold, what do you use for your mattress as the cold was coming straight though mine?
Hi, I use a downmat 9LW with an R rating of 8. You really need a well insulated mat, preferably down in those conditions. See the next camping video, I was freezing !!!
Hi, great content. Keep them coming.
What is the name of the campsite you visited here? Looks a superb place.
Hi thanks. It’s Rukins campsite.
Great stuff, Pete. I'm planning on some solo camping myself, but not sure where to start with all the gear. I don't want to spend a small fortune. What's your recommendations in terms of equipment. Thanks
Cheers Neil. I think just starting out and on a budget look on AliExpress. I can recommend the hiby 3 tent for a start.
Feedback , milk goes in last when making tea kid
No chance! 🤣
*wonderful video, just a quick question, I see you are using phone, how do you manage phone vibrations*
I use a quad lock anti vibration Mount 👍🏽
@@Two_Wheel_Trips Thank you🙂
Just letting you know that your videos are ok. Right balance between riding and camping.
Im planning on a trip to the same camp site end of June start of July. Think I will take my midge repellent.
Definitely don’t go without it 👍🏽
Thanks. Wat was the outcome of your leaking rear shock 😲
@@newburybiker8852 extremely luckily Teasdales of Thirsk had one in stock that was wrongly ordered. If not there was months of waiting for them. Replaced under warranty happy days.
Good news then mate. Ive been watching your camping trips to Yorkshire Dales with interest along with the Lakes.
I've got my first trip on the bike camping planned for mid May to Wales and then one to Yorkshire Dales end of Jun.
Just working out how to pack the bike as I've not done camping on a bike yet. 😅
@@newburybiker8852 I’ll be doing a packing video and maybe before you go away. My rule is but lightweights gear but do scrimp on his much you take.
I've been round tann hill is that keld the village where u went cheers
Yes turn at the Tann Hill Inn. Takes you to Keld. Stunning area.
whats that lid? my shoei is crap, looking for another
It’s the new Shark Spartan GT Carbon. Quality and quiet. I had the Shoei GT air. This better more modern.
thermacell is ur best friend man, had me itching my face and shit lol
I’ve looked at those before maybe time to invest. I wasn’t bitten at all mine with the Smidgie on. They were just a pain.
Personally I enjoy the wild camping and everything that comes with it. Seeing the set up, tidy up and cooking etc.
the riding is secondary for me but prefer when you’re getting the front wheel up and hoying it about 👍
🤣 wheel doesnt come up just camera trickery 😉
