It depends have you installed a WiFi router earlier, the process is straight forward if you have done it earlier, there is a handy guide as I mentioned in the video which helps you if you are new, but if you are not comfortable with computers then you might need a technician, if you know what you are doing it takes 2-3 minutes for the entire setup process.

i purchased this router last week its awesome speed really impressed/ but m fassing one problem i have to setup every time i shutdown the pc. that means. wifi doesn't work only when router is switched on but i need to start my pc and then connect it every time. please help me out from this problem. the speed is awesome.

Hi Ranjeet.. Plz share.. is there is ant way to share or attach our external HDD or Pendrive, i guess it is not possible with this router, but still asking, because u r geeky :D . I have TP-Link N150 and im planing to switch it with the same(TP-Link N300) router, because my current router's signal strength in not up to the mark, Is it fair to switch?
Not it is not possible with this model, there was another model of TP-LINK router that is also N300 that has a USB port using which you can connect a external HDD / Pendrive, but do remember coz of the USB port those routers are a bit more in cost.
Can you please tell me if this router is directly compatible with cable net ISPs like meghbela, PMPL, wishet, alliance, airnet, etc.?
If yes, can you please give me a hint how to config them?
Actualy Im using a BSNL connection with modem cum router but Im looking forward to switch to cable net very soon, so your reply would be very helpful as I cannot stay even a little time without wifi.
There is no way I can confirm that as I just cannot test all those ISP's but this router has a standard normal WAN ethernet port that can be connected to any internet connection that comes with a Ethernet port.
You dont need to test them all as mos of them uses the same kinda systems.
Btw, Which ISP are you using with this router?
Sougata Kundu I am using Beam Broadband they have a fiberoptical connection till the building and from there the connection comes via a Ethernet port.
Cable net also comes with a ethernet port but through a copper cable. I suppose this should work.

Sir, thanks for the unboxing video. Please tell me the process to use this router. I have a BSNL connection, which means A-DSL. I am planing to order it via flipkart.
As I mentioned in the vid, you need to use your ADSL modem as this is just a plain WiFi router, as you are using a BSNL connection you would already have a ADSL router just connect the Ethernet cable that comes out of your ADSL router to the WAN port of this router that way it will work with BSNL broadband.

Please compare it with TL-WR841N, by using app called Wifi analyzer, its APK.. specially its there signal strength.
Nice Route Ranjit. But I'm looking for an option that support Data Card as well. Any idea? I believe ASUS RTA66U is pretty expensive and I'm on a tight budget.

You have purchase the OTG cable separately I would suggest by it from ebay.in as you can get it for just around Rs 100 or less.

100 Meters in an urban area no WiFi routers can provide a decent wifi connection at that distance, 100 meters is approx 330 feet the best WiFi routers I have tested Asus high end routers all costing above Rs 15,000 can just reach around 110-130 feet so forget about 100 meters.
Most WiFi routers I test there range in urban area is around 35-55 feet good enough for around 1800 sq-feet flats and that WiFi router was decent enough till 55 feet which is above average and much better than many of the other expensive routers.

it is like a pairing process. You push the button and since then yyou can connect your phone or something else for like 2minutes withoput the code of the router.
