Recently got to plat. All I can say: Playing with teammates got way too important. Since i got to plat, I had been winning all of my games except 2. One of them I was doing bad and I admit it, since I got headshotted by a reyna 8 out of 8 times (not a single bodyshot nor else). But the second loss was where nobody communicated nor tried to team up. From the wins I had recently is from mostly teaming up, motivating eachother.
@@lancepanics2996 I don't really duo since all of them are either diamond or high plat with low K/D (speaking of .7 overall) which isn't going to help me much further if they someone does not play all too good. That's why I solo q.

As an iron player, I have never seen anyone run and gun in my rank, and the big part of the players have a good crossair placement, so i don’t understand why this rank is so underestimated by everyone 😢
I can see how most low elo ranks are underestimated, and some irons are decent, but if the small things don't work focus on the bigger things. Like jiggling/strafing might not be necessary, but is incredibly useful in any rank.
Agreed. As an bronze player in Indian server people in my games dominate everyone w/ good cc placement and shooting. I cant understand why is it soo underestimated..

Honestly easiest way to get out of silver and gold is to communicate with your team and support them. Comms are a must, and playing with them is too. Also, try to motivate your team as much as you can so nobody is tilted.
Warming up for 20-30 mins works well for me, watch a lot of RUclips warmups from different pros or creators and try them then see which one works for you. For example I'm using a combination of dreamwell warm up and some others and I have improved from bronze 1 level to gold level in a month

I have no idea why but there is that one duelist/chamber/sage in my Mumbai server iron-bronze ranked matches who are better than what looks like radiants. (chamber and sage in low elo lobbies are duelists)
Great video, and for any low Elo players, another problem is trying to knock out all your problems fast. Focus on one problem at a time, instead of trying to learn all at once. That way, you can master specific things more.

Should I squeeze the mouse hard when aiming, or should I loosen up a lot? I noticed I am more precise when squeezing the mouse, but I get tired faster, so for me there are positives and negatives.
Learn to loosen up for around 70% of a game, and go back to your preferred grip for when you need to pick it up to win clutches. Long term tension is no good for your wrist, especially if you play for fun/pass the time (not going professional). Also, the Bronze tip (crosshair placement) in the video is the best skill to train. You won't need to grip too much if you have good aim discipline. You can focus on that instead so you use your arm more.
Man I want to ask how to escape instant peek kill because when enemy peek on small place will always kill me on instant :( also at some reason if I play deathmatch my aim always on head level but on competitive my aim always on body
yeah woohoojin is pretty great. 9/10 times, you can jump peek, ask for a flash, smoke the common angles, etc. simply a/d peeking will put your head in the crosshairs of most players
Idk if the frankfurt memes are legit, but I'm in silver and the skill descreptancy is insane, and stuff like what you said up to diamond are all stuff I knew already (although not close to perfected) people pre aim, counter strafe, insta headshot.. and I don't think this is all just smurfs
people underestimate iron and bronze too much, of course most of the people there arent great, but theres the definition of elo hell for a reason, i was in iron for a month because every other game either someone was throwing or there smurfs on the other team, and thats why its so hard to get out of such ranks, even if you are silver or higher in actuall skill

I’m not a very consistent player but even the games I feel I play incredibly well I can’t manage to win. I match mvp’d, aced and even IGL’d the entirety of my competetive match yesterday and went 26/17/3, still lost because my entire team was no comm and wouldn’t listen to the plays I was suggesting. How are you supposed to win your games in silver-gold if your team isn’t working with you?
I am bronze, but my tip to rise the ranks inside radiant is to use mindgames, map and game knowledge and try to be as 500IQ as possible, looking at pro matches, you notice many of the rounds winned are caused by one or multiple players simply being SMART, knowledge is power

Habit for plat- Have a smurf or two in your team to counter the smurfs in the op team. The entire lower elo is full of smurfs from Diamond/Asc. Be it silver, gold or plat, they are PACKED with smurfs going 31-3 in a game while the second best is 8-11
Try predicting what your opponents will do. Say you push A on haven, you can guarantee one will flank from garage or C or, one will be A short. Or on defense instead on camping on site look for them by jump spotting

i think this guide is really helpful but being in gold people really wont listen and my duo is going through a tough time rn and he cant play and no one who i know is online. whenever i try to comm something to my team they just say stfu or smthing then theyll be 3/12/7 and complain that im distracting them
It really depends, if you want to climb REALLY fast then learning to tap or burst would be very effective, BUT since you’d be going against other bronze player it might be hard at first but then when you climb to when they do it too, it should get easier. It also depends on whether your using vandal or phantom, for vandal you want to try to keep spraying to a minimum. With a phantom however, it’s more of an option but instantly going into a spray or couch-spray isn’t a good habit. I struggled with it for a long time, but as soon as I got out of it, I was climbing WAY faster than before. Good luck climbing!

Dude istg- I'm literally an Iron 3 player that plays in the Mumbai server and idk how easy it must be in US servers because we need to learn stuff like proper aim, crosshair placement, have movement accuracy, and literally everything else that you described players up to Gold need to do. I've been stuck between Iron 2 and 3 for ages now. Please help 😩 Like- I'm not even kidding- my friend who plays terribly- he's placed in Iron 1 but he destroyed a Diamond 1 player from Singapore in a 1v1
1v1's are pretty easy, i made my way from Iron 2 to bronze 2 by vod reviewing to find out how many mistakes i made (a lot of them), after that get a duo and you can easily make your way to silver where altleast you'll have a few good players. I also do well in 1v1's and have beat my peak Asc 3 friend multiple times, but that doesn't equate to ingame when you may not notice all of your mistakes. That's all to sorry for taking too long.
I'm a bronze, i'm working on my crosshair placement but the only problem is that i have a fade and i would like her to ult when i yoru ult but they never listen
another thing is... learn your movement and just staying alive.. i've won countless rounds for my team just because i jiggle main on defense, run back, jiggle again, go back again, jiggle.. all while using my utility to stall the push... all while using jump movement
Tbh if u wanna get out of lower ranks like bronze and silver all u gotta do is avoid duelists and play agents like kj, viper, kayo these agents are fairly simple to use except viper cause of her lineups and one ways but if u can learn 2 or 3 setups and lineups for these agents u will surely win every round whenever the enemy decides to push the site u hold cause they are bronze my guy they are dumb to 5 stack push a site from the same path. I got a ace from kj's molly on fracture in a silver lobby 😂 so play simple heroes first learn their core mechanics alongside focusing movement errors and crosshair palcement. you should loosen your grip on your mouse because too much tension will make your aim inconsistent
If you squeeze you might hurt yourself in the long run
Keep your Edpi between 190 to 320 and soften up your grip, then u should be good. I'm immortal 2 thogh

You get get easily to platinium with good aim and some level of game sense. Try hitting consistently 25+ on medium bots with sheriff in range

Nah they are about the same. Well obviously everyone underestimates the low ranks, but implement higher elo techniques and you'll be out of your rank in no time.

@@anjupandey5832 cope bruh. Just implement high elo techniques and you'll be out of low elo in no time. Server does not matter. When I was bronze I was convinced I deserved plat, so I improved my strats a bit and hit diamond in no time.
i think this guide is really helpful but being in gold people really wont listen and my duo is going through a tough time rn and he cant play and no one who i know is online. whenever i try to comm something to my team they just say stfu or smthing then theyll be 3/12/7 and complain that im distracting them

Should you spray if you are in bronze?
It really depends, if you want to climb REALLY fast then learning to tap or burst would be very effective, BUT since you’d be going against other bronze player it might be hard at first but then when you climb to when they do it too, it should get easier.
It also depends on whether your using vandal or phantom, for vandal you want to try to keep spraying to a minimum. With a phantom however, it’s more of an option but instantly going into a spray or couch-spray isn’t a good habit. I struggled with it for a long time, but as soon as I got out of it, I was climbing WAY faster than before. Good luck climbing!

Bruh I wish valorant had a solo option. My teamates never play right and always bait me. They even throw util at me in order for me to die. The hardest rank to play is iron, not radiant.
false, you can always win in iron without planting the spike simply by running at the enemy and shooting if you're mildly competent

They underestimate iron BIG TIME
Dude istg- I'm literally an Iron 3 player that plays in the Mumbai server and idk how easy it must be in US servers because we need to learn stuff like proper aim, crosshair placement, have movement accuracy, and literally everything else that you described players up to Gold need to do. I've been stuck between Iron 2 and 3 for ages now. Please help 😩
Like- I'm not even kidding- my friend who plays terribly- he's placed in Iron 1 but he destroyed a Diamond 1 player from Singapore in a 1v1
1v1's are pretty easy, i made my way from Iron 2 to bronze 2 by vod reviewing to find out how many mistakes i made (a lot of them), after that get a duo and you can easily make your way to silver where altleast you'll have a few good players. I also do well in 1v1's and have beat my peak Asc 3 friend multiple times, but that doesn't equate to ingame when you may not notice all of your mistakes. That's all to sorry for taking too long.

another thing is... learn your movement and just staying alive.. i've won countless rounds for my team just because i jiggle main on defense, run back, jiggle again, go back again, jiggle.. all while using my utility to stall the push... all while using jump movement
Tbh if u wanna get out of lower ranks like bronze and silver all u gotta do is avoid duelists and play agents like kj, viper, kayo these agents are fairly simple to use except viper cause of her lineups and one ways but if u can learn 2 or 3 setups and lineups for these agents u will surely win every round whenever the enemy decides to push the site u hold cause they are bronze my guy they are dumb to 5 stack push a site from the same path. I got a ace from kj's molly on fracture in a silver lobby 😂 so play simple heroes first learn their core mechanics alongside focusing movement errors and crosshair palcement. Just watch guides on yt like this video for thise topics

counter strafing in valo is stupid
You don't need to counter strafe, but you need some form of movement. Just strafe left to right but simply let go of your keys.
