There's no functional difference between Rank 1 Legend and Rank 3500 Legend aside from bragging rights, so Legend is ironically the best rank for having fun with memes.
Buoyant Armiger what? legend is the only rank where ranks start mattering. getting htc points for finishing top200 is worth more than just bragging rights
UbererSK only if you care about that, most players (especially newer ones) don't have a big enough collection to support tournament play. If you just want to play decent games with as little cancer as possible legend is a place to be, no matter if you are ranked 1st or 2000th
Because all the people stuck in 20-1 are sweaty tryhards and the people in legend are like "Fuck it I've made it to legends let's play around with shit."
or the fact that just about EVERY taunt warrior you play against has Deathwing. The fact that so much mass removal is being played don't help it out either.
I can't tell how much better LK is over LS, because they are both trash tier card. LK is bad because it is so late game, you are either so behind on board or people already have an answer waiting for your Laleidosaur.
Except it's not "actually quite good" you're just wrong. It's ridiculously low impact for a quest. Time warp, for example, wins you the game if you assemble the correct cards. Crystal core is obviously nutty when it goes off, sulfuras *literally gives you a permanent ragnaros* which is pretty ridiculous. None of these force you to build your deck as poorly as galvadon does, either.
And even if all goes well, and you draw perfectly and get a good board going... You basically win DESPITE Galvadon, not because of it. It's a low-impact reward for a low-impact quest playstyle, and you basically just go "Well what was the point of that then". Galvadon is kinda crap for the same reason Al'Akir is kinda crap nowadays. Yeah, it can do a lot, but it's still just one minion, and when all else fails, Stubborn Gastropod and the like exists and Paladins don't have much direct removal by the time they've got Galvadon in play. Honestly, if the quest was just "Play 6 minions with Divine Shield" and the reward was... Say... All your minions get divine shield upon being summoned, that could be MUCH more interesting, though arguably very similar to Rogue.
The actual quest REWARD for warlock is great, it's just it forces you to run discard which means you might discard a card you REALLY needed. Plus it's all that work for basically a side-grade to jarraxus's hero power that you don't spend mana on.
problem is that discard mechanic prevents you from really having any key cards or strategy. The mechanic is the problem. way way way too inconsistent to be anything but a meme deck
I wonder if people play the paladin quest wrong. I mean what if you're supposed to run it as a backup win condition with murloc paladin? I mean that deck used to run a few buffs by choice and the best buff minion is a murloc.
Yeah. It doesn't look like a minion that wins the game on its own. it dies to too many stuff like hex, twisting nether and stuff. Every other quest gives you a lasting effect and the Paladin quest only a single minion that gets removed fast. Also, he won only because of Twisting and Deathwing, his portal didn't do that much in my opinion.
and i like the idea of 5/5 stealth windfury that can be buffed next turn, maybe dosen't work here there still mach ups where it could be good maybe quest rogue?
I honestly don't understand what the design philosophy behind Galvadon is. Despite what a lot of people will say to you, the actual Buffadin minus Galvadon can kinda hold its own. It's not the worst deck construction penalty among the quests, I'd give that one to Marsh Queen. But Galvadon himself is so shit. Every other quest is a potent, sustained benefit that your opponent can't counter. Galvadon is a giant minion that MIGHT become a windfury stealth with a bunch of attack and you have more buffs in your hand so he'll get lethal next turn, MIGHT, he has RNG, a fuck load of it, when all the others have little to none in comparison. On top of that, he's not only counter able, he's easy as fuck to counter. Almost any good size taunt, big AOE like Frost Nova Nether or Brawl, hard removal if you whiff the Adapt and either don't get protection or don't immediately kill your opponent, it's completely stupid. The card I built my whole deck around got turned into a random 4 drop for 2 mana. Like what the fuck, Blizzard? Did Paladin just not deserve to have a quest like the other classes?
Garrett Seno Yeah honestly they should consider buffing these bad quests until they're viable. Hunter, Paladin, Warlock being the only three I'd consider need buffing. Just reducing the amount of discards and buffs needed would be a start.
pally and warlock quests are what really intrigued me but being a f2p i only got lucky with a rogue quest. and if you want a big minion just dinosize adapt a boar, more consistent
Galvadon would be awesome... if only : -Mage didn't have Ice Block/freeze -Warlock didn't have Nether -Warrior wasn't so aggressive with pirates -Paladin didn't have Equality + Consec/Pyro -Priest didn't have Dragonfire pot (buff that health in case) -Rogue didn't just combo or quest activates and kills you way early Oh, but hunter can be beat. they don't usualy run Flare...
I've crushed Warriors and Priests with Buff Paladin (it was the only quest I got from packs, so I tried it for the lulz and memes). I found it surprisingly good against those classes in the few matches I played. I also got a Kodo secret from Hydrologist, so I got to play 2 Galvadons in one of the games.
Although the reward for the mage quest has more potential than the paladin quest reward, you'd think the mage quest would be harder since each move requires you to create the new spells before you actually get to cast them (and you get a head start if you're the second turn) but honestly the mage spells make the mage quest so much easier because we have things like the spell tome giving us 3 new spells with just one cast
Comparing to each other i think it's the warlock one, but comparing to all the others... well, still warlock, you however kibler can make anything work (within the bounds of reason) that is why i love watching you.
My list from best to worst: #1 Rogue, sadly ... its just a nobrainer where the only counter is is Quest Warrior, SOMETIMES #2 Warrior, build up armor followed by waves of taunt #3 Mage, it is combo based but if you play the Alexstraza deck its most likely you win #4 Shaman, its easy to play 10 murlocs and to drop your hand to use Megafin #5 Hunter, seemed very OP at the beginning but now its just meh, i never see it being played and i outquest it sometimes with my Mage #6 Priest, using minions with like no power to achieve your 40 health, can be useful with Jaraxxus from Kabal Courier #7 Warlock, giving up cards to spawn permanently minions, this would be a good quest if there was a minion/legendary which lets u choose the cards to discard. #8 Paladin, never seen played and Galvadon is the weakest of all rewards being only 5/5, can easily be countered, by the turn you have Galvadon, the enemy has also bigger minions #9 Druid, i know most people dont see that, but a quest where you can start it with 4 mana? i know innevate is a thing but seriously after you played 5 of your big guys are there any left to profit from your 0 mana?
Hey Kibler! Think the Paladin quest could have been better if paladins got a card that said "Whenever a minion adapts, do something" to be able to combo with Galvadon?
The card should have been something like; Adapt x2, then Adapt every start of your turn. This way, it has the potential to be a reactive force on the board aswell as a big dude. The card should also have better stats, I think.
Gotta believe that Lakkari is worse simply because the entire deck itself become really counter-productive. Discard is best when you have no cards in your hand but you *need* to discard so Zoo doesn't work. If you are going control, you generally want to win with card advantage so just going something like Handlock with Lord Jaraxxus is better. The Paladin quest may have a really crap reward but at least the entire deck isn't a counter-productive mess. If next expansion makes one or two more good buff cards or adds in something like GvG's Spare Parts, Quest Paladin could work out.
I've also experienced Lakkari to be so hard to pull off! :) But with this deck I've actually had a pretty nice winrate. I'm rank 4 though :P /Benny from Neuvron
hey Brian Kibler can you help me in MTG. do you have a good zoo deck? and if you have can you put in the description in your next video? my favorite MTG player
I have 700g..is it beter to start ticking off the wings of Karazhan (700g each) or is it better buying packs? Potentially 7 x 4 = 28 packs instead of karazhan cards... which is a better bargain :S?
I did the first wing of Karazhan and bought like 5 packs after and regretted the packs instantly. All garbage cards when I could have saved up to get some good cards like Babbling Book for the mage deck.
i think the rogue and mage quests need some nerfs, either add a larger quota to fill or patch the bread and butter cards that make the quests more do able, i would not be surprised if they removed the shadow steps reduce cost affect cus of this nonsense and increase the mana cost of minions like Apprentice with strong effects geared towards casting spells.
Paladin quest is worst. At the very least if Lakarri Sacrifice is completed it provides something with a long-lasting benefit like most other quests. The Last Kaleidosaur forces to make a very slow, specific deck for a single minion that can be underpowered without windfury and +3 attack and fragile without +3 health and divine shield. Even if you manage to give him useful stats he can be removed by single-target removal without spellshield or AOE even with spellshield. High effort, poor reward.
Lakkari Sacrifice is terrible because you discard your discard cards whin terms means you can't complete the quest. Kaleidosaur actually gives a reward because you don't have the biggest drawback in the game (i.e discarding)
The Paladin quest is difficult to finish without creating a weak deck filled with cheap, crappy buffs. Once Galvadon goes into your hand, he is vulnerable to Dirty Rat. And if he manages to hit the board, he is a sitting duck for hard removal spells. Lousy quest.
Hey Brian where do u find ur music for ur games, normally it matches 90% the tempo with the action, i think maybe to subbed for the fucking music. keep it up,
Warlock spells usually counter this quest paladin so... I'm not sure if countering the enemy deck determines that the paladin quest is worse than the warlock quest. That's only my opinion.
Sky Scraper sure warlock has a lot of removal. but galvadon is still a sitting duck against almost all classes. if u run this pala quest. people will keep their removal for ur galvadon.
i argue that mage quest is the worst cause everyone gets op shit like warriors getting a weapon then their hero power becomes die insect. mages? we get a extra turn. that's it. waste 5 mana crystals then use the spell you get another turn! it's the worst compared to the rest. like can mages get a bit more support? like spells cost zero for the rest of the turn instead of a free turn? i mean druids got the exact opposite they get to play minions for 0 cost!
The real fucking injustice is how many times you have to buff your own minions. Blizzard can't balance shit, and clearly don't give a fuck. Rogue only has to replay the same minion 4 times. What the fuck where they thinking, I wouldn't be surprised if they're just fucking with us.
Which quest is the worst? *starts video and looks at opponent* awww don't be mean to the paladin,he did nothing wrong *sees kibler playing warlock* OHHHH its a competition I UNDERSTAND NOW (poor warlock and paladin quests.)
The warlock quest requirements are so troll they have been trying to make discard lock work for so long and just never succeed. Still better than paladin quest though lul
Now that you've established which quest is the worst, you need to run some more tests to find out which quest is the _second_ worst! Is it Lakkari Sacrifice or Awaken the Makers?
Nobody plays it, at least. I'm not convinced that a decent AtM is impossible, but if anyone's found it then nobody's noticed. I wonder about an elemental quest Priest, for one.
Honestly, I think Priest quest is the worst. It's one of the hardest to complete and doesn't do anything to help you win the game. Against shit like quest mage it doesn't even help you not lose the game.
I think it's
9. The dead kaleidosaur
8. Lakkari sacrifice your chance of winning
7. The queen of 1 drops
6. Jungle giants that lose to murlocs and pirates

The real fucking injustice is how many times you have to buff your own minions. Blizzard can't balance shit, and clearly don't give a fuck. Rogue only has to replay the same minion 4 times. What the fuck where they thinking, I wouldn't be surprised if they're just fucking with us.
I run warlock quest after Frozen Throne expansion and kick ass all around
You just built a terrible version of it
Also: Twisting Nether < DOOM!
Worst quest is 'play 10 minions that cost 8 or more'
Really dumb quest because not dying by turn 6 is hard...
Which quest is the worst?
*starts video and looks at opponent*
awww don't be mean to the paladin,he did nothing wrong
*sees kibler playing warlock*
OHHHH its a competition I UNDERSTAND NOW
(poor warlock and paladin quests.)
so from best to worst warlock quest, renounce darkness, and paladin quest
Damnit I was making new accounts and have shaman, warlock, and paladin quests
The warlock quest requirements are so troll they have been trying to make discard lock work for so long and just never succeed. Still better than paladin quest though lul
How is the nether portal bad? It spawns 2 3/2 demons at the end of your turn and I just don't see what's wrong with it
Shooken Scared
Quest reward is good
Discard is bad
I counterspelled a nether portal yesterday
youre supposed to put the warlock quest in handlock and run zero discard outlets besides deathwing. think about it Kibler.
Adapt five times isnt even that good.
ADAPT FIFTY TIMES
thougt: now comes the kripp put of kibler, but no.. it was much more entertaining :D
Now that you've established which quest is the worst, you need to run some more tests to find out which quest is the _second_ worst! Is it Lakkari Sacrifice or Awaken the Makers?
Warclam Is Awaken the Makers really that bad?
Nobody plays it, at least. I'm not convinced that a decent AtM is impossible, but if anyone's found it then nobody's noticed. I wonder about an elemental quest Priest, for one.
Warclam awaken the maker is great in wild , just too difficult in standard , tho that can change with a new expansion with a few more death rattles.
If he had Gateway Koddo he would have got it back
Honestly, I think Priest quest is the worst. It's one of the hardest to complete and doesn't do anything to help you win the game. Against shit like quest mage it doesn't even help you not lose the game.
Seriously though, I'm still pretty sure the warlock quest is the worst.
Rip I must suck at Hearthstone for Paladin Quest to be my main deck
Quest double twisting opening hand.
Ow
Discard 6 cards, play 5 mana, get 4 imps
