You were not alone - down south here it started raining just after dawn and it was still coming down as it got dark. Nobody can doubt your dedication to spotting. Perhaps the whole Cramlington collective should get orange hats like Tommy's dad to increase your chances of beeps and waves.
Yea the weather wasn't really great to trainspot but a least I saw the diesel railtour, the wind was really strong, Wales was really bad with wind. also thats a good idea to get a orange hat i'll try it next time when i trainspot.
