Thanks for posting!!. I have been trying to find any film of Saigon Kick live for a while now. One of my favorite bands from when I was a kid now If Saigon kick can get back together for a show, it proves anything is possible.
Thanks for posting this show! You captured the club atmosphere really well with the audience perspective. They were ahead of their time. Wish they would've played ICU. Fun video!
ryan adam or go see a show! There's a small group of die hard fans who share pics, footage etc..It's called Saigon Kick Fans Official the guy who filmed this also filmed their Ft. Lauderdale show and he is in the group ..We grew up with Matt ..and support our boys of SK ..more shows coming up!
I love their vocal melodies and Jason's guitar style. I never even realized it but i used to listen to the lizard a ton when i was younger and it shows in some of my riffs and lead work.

Awesome song list....Saigon Kick still sounding great. Matt & Jason are such good chemistry vocally. They are such brilliant artists both musically & lyrically.....I still give their music plenty of play.
Great video!!! SK RULES!!!!! Thank you so much..I will keep this forever!! The Button South came back to me..And, SK still sound and look freaking Awesome!!!!
Kathy Carman Kathy..this is how they look today..I am personal friends with them, and you must be referring to 25 years ago?? Goto Facebook There is a Saigon Kick Fan Page.. There will be a Button South Class Reunion IV..the last here in Fort Lauderdale Florida on Sept. 22 & 23 2016. This is the club they first!! played and got signed after that. between the years of 1981-1991. Phil Varone, the drummer left and is in Vegas now, Matt started another band sorta like jazz, Justin is doing a solo project..This pic was a rare reunion for them...we all age my friend...but...do your homework my friend...
Coni Limer Yes you do know these boys and they are up and running sounding GREAT!! I'm in here looking REALLY bad..lol TJ moved me onto the stage somehow? I was just shooting pics lol..It's the SK Fans Official..small close knit group of die hard fans..I'm trying to get it together to go to The Dallas show on June 30th, for my birthday..Those are our boys! @@romeokid69 - from Wikipedia : "In 2000, original members Kramer, Varone, and DeFile resurrected the Saigon Kick name for a short tour. Jason Bieler, being involved with Super TransAtlantic and wanting no part of a reunion, was replaced by DeFile's former Left For Dead bandmate Jeff Blando on guitar."
J.D. Soos - that was JM on drums. Stephen Gibb on second guitar and vox. I was the stand in Bassist for this show and one more afterwards. Very fun, and they seemed to want to stretch a bit, which was awesome----picked some cool ass covers as well-
Unfortunately, yes. No offense against Mover, but he just does not replicate a lot of the groovy tribal chops like Phil that are signature in many of these songs.
J.D. Soos yes, thats "mover" on drums he's amazing!!! Stephen Gibb on rhythm guitar and currently Chris McLernon is on bass..Some dates coming up..They played the Viper Room last week..there's a Saigon Kick Fans official group on Facebook..look it up and check it out..It's a private group of close knit people who are die hard fans, been around since the beginning and most of the band is there..There is a lot of sharing of pics, footage and just a cool friendly fans and friends feeling..
I loves this band, and always will, but Matt sounds awful, he sounds drunk, out ot tune (constantly!), out of time and out of his depth, what happened to him?! When you're singing harmony you can't just start randomly adding vibrato and extra notes whenever you please, also, WHY IS HE CUPPING THE MIC?!?!

The cover of Major Tom is probably the most original sounding cover ever. One of my favorites.
Thank you for filming and posting this!

This is cool to see. SK was one of my favorite bands in the mid 90s.
I love their vocal melodies and Jason's guitar style. I never even realized it but i used to listen to the lizard a ton when i was younger and it shows in some of my riffs and lead work.
The first album was one of the big surprises of '91 besides Last Crack's Burning Time.

Thank you for posting! They sounded great... I really enjoyed Dear Prudence.
After a long time watching them playing. Happy to see one of my favourite rock bands once again. Expecting more new songs from them.
I think it's awesome how they got 2 Jason Bielers up there at once.

Is their any question now that Jason Bieler was the heart and soul of this band?
FEEL THE SAME WAY????
Would have liked to hear more of SK's third and fourth albums, with Matt on vocals, instead of cover songs...
Benjamin Musclow it's a little odd to sing on albums you were not on initially..they recorded some of the covers..
Jesus, I wish Mover would play the songs correctly :(
SOUNDS GREAT!!! \M/\M/
Saw them once minus Jason. So thrilled that there still playing. Fat better than most bands then and now ;)
There is no way you saw Saigon Kick without Jason. He has been the one main member of the band since the beginning.

did they play "i love you" ?
Who is rounding out the band, aside from Matt & Jason? Is that JM on drums?
J.D. Soos - that was JM on drums.
Stephen Gibb on second guitar and vox.
I was the stand in Bassist for this show and one more afterwards.
Very fun, and they seemed to want to stretch a bit, which was awesome----picked some cool ass covers as well-
Jason Rosner- Bass Awesome! Are you going to play with them, again? If you're going to be playing in the NYC area, let me know.
Unfortunately, yes. No offense against Mover, but he just does not replicate a lot of the groovy tribal chops like Phil that are signature in many of these songs.

Saw Saigon Kick in 1992 opening for Extreme... Matt has definitely toned down his performance, but it still sounds pretty good!
+Benjamin Musclow I saw that show too up in Springfield, Mass and it rocked!
Seen them at the qm union glasgow supporting extreme , what a gig £5 entry
Did they even play Love is on the way?
+Dustin Martin Yup 1:33:10
