    True or false statements.
    1. The battle of 1764 paved the way for the British over bengal and eventually the whole of India.
    2. Battle of 1757 was 1 of the most decisive battles of Indian history for it demonstrated the supremacy of the english arms over the Indian powers.
    Please designate the above statements.

    • @gouravkumaryadav2462
      @gouravkumaryadav2462 2 года назад +1

      1 should be true . becoz the plassey war of 1757 was not even a little bit glimpse of British Arms power. They defeated Sirajuddaullah by deplomacy and in the option Indian powers is mentioned. As we know Siraj ud daulla was alone and weaker side in the battle. So ofcourse Plassey was the decisive battle which made Indian powers aware of British Mentality and plans but not of their arms against Indian powers

      @@gouravkumaryadav2462 Hi Gourav, I appreciate your reply, but the 1757 battle was paved way to british to get Diwani rights to collect revenue from bengal and its surrounding region people. British did not had a plan to control over major Indian territory.
      In 1764 battle british realized the weakness of Indian rulers and it encouraged british to acquire majority of Indian territories.
      So both the statements are false. Statements are interchanged.
