I was gifted the signature #12 brush, monomer and 5 acrylic powder from YN... it was AMAZING (for me as i am a new nail tech) to see a huge difference between a quality brush and product!!! Im using mia secret which is amazing too, but the kiara sky is 👎👎👎👎. I really love your product. I got to do a nail set soon ❤❤❤
I had to learn that the hard way on doing my own nails. Watching manyvideos and not realizing why when i do them and when i get them done professional they come back more torn and sore. So i am glad I learned to and happy to say i have family that enjoy my partner Work too. Wish i can get my license but i am 40 already😢
Thank you so much for such great teachings, this was my prayer answered , as i have been going though so many tutorials, teachings, and stumbled on your teachings. One question, does it make a huge diffrence in the type or brand of Acrylic powder, or monomer, one uses , as i just cannot seem to get that soft flowing texture. I am following your instructions very carefully though, and I have learnt so, so much from you. Thank you God bless.
Question!!!!!: how do you finish it??? Does acrylic have its own top coat or do you choose whether lacquer polish or gel with their respective topcoats?
You can use either a regular or gel top coat over acrylic. It's your preference. If you are going to paint any color on top then yes you would use the top coat that goes with the type of color you are using, regular with regular and gel with gel.
@@youngnailsinc thank you thank you. I'm learning a lot from your channel. I'm trying to learn acrylics from scratch. My school seems focused on client service so practicing on special nail techniques is placed on the side
Hello greg I see you video but can you tell me which is the first video I have to see for a beginner don't know nothing about nail plz I want to start learning how to do acrylic nails
Here's a great little video to show you what makes our trainer hand different from a lot of the other brands on the market. instagram.com/tv/CWw9CncrplW/?
Love this video! I actually had no idea why my hands were shaking, but now I know! As a side note, while I’m watching my husband goes, “is that joe Rogan teaching you nails??” Lol now I can’t unhear it!
Hi, I was wondering what colour acrylic you used in the beginning? I really like that pink, I think it would look so good as a nail bed for French nails. Thanks
You have to hold it longer because there is no body heat speeding up the drying. You could also try adhering them with fiber gel instead of glue. Just make sure to remove the shine from the inside of the tip as well because gel adheres better to a textured surface.
😊 I enjoyed watching your video 🫶🏿 As a beginner nail tech I’m just now mastering the perfect & smooth application 💚 I do have a real time application video up on my channel 💅 This inspired me to keep going 😍
Can we discuss e-files quickly? I saw a popular nail technician on Instagram telling people to use their e-files at 15,000 - 20,000 RPM for cuticle work, specifically prep. I have NEVER used my file that high, and I would appreciate some more information/feedback on this from some other techs to clarify. Opinions/thoughts are welcome from all.
For prep, we recommend keeping your efile between 3-6k rpms and use a medium sanding band or diamond cuticle bit. Higher rpms can quickly lead to over filing of the nail.

Thanks, some great tips here

Good morning Greg
I have always taken away from your videos that without a great foundation to build from is the most important part of Arylic application
I couldn't get the tips to stick to my dummy hand I have the same one as on the video. Starting nail tech training.
Are you talking about acrylic tips or the tips that come with the trainer hand?
@@youngnailsinc The acrylic tips. Have a Saviland kit.

Hi! My acrylic nails keep breaking in the middle! I need advice please 🙏🏻
Are they breaking where the natural nail ends? If so, here is a great video: ruclips.net/video/_M0suBcFHN4/видео.html
Which powder colors are used in this video. I wish you would put the name of the products on your videos
Cover pink and speed bubblegum
Cleta Extension
Agustin Lock
What size brush is that ?
Greg’s signature brush, size 12.
That is water or oil
It’s monomer.

Appreciate the advice but that video was ten times longer than it needed to be.
Thanks for the feedback.
