- My New Excavator - Beaver Dam Removal With An Excavator No.173
📝Basic information: Removing beaver dams - this is among other things I do.
Beaver dams are removed manually or mechanically with an excavator.
The work of removing beaver dams is very difficult and demanding, but it also gives a lot of satisfaction - especially to you, the viewers who watch these videos - so thank you for your support.
I carry out work related to the removal of beaver dams at the request of state organizations, so each order is carried out in the place where beaver dams actually cause damage - flooding of nearby buildings, basements or farmlands, etc. Sometimes, when the terrain is flat, the damage caused is even several kilometers away from the dam built by beavers.
Even though beavers are very invasive animals, they are under strict protection in our country.
I personally like all animals, so beavers are fine too.
In addition, I deal with greenery maintenance - i.e. I mow lawns, cut and prune trees and perform other works.

The first time I got on an excavator, the old guy who was nice enough to give me the chance to "try one on for size" as he put it, told me this. Git up inere an don evun try diggin nuttin. Jus dig air for the first tin minuts. Lol
By doing so, I was able to see what each movement of the joysticks did and how light of a touch it took to put the machine through it's full range of motion. He had me loading trucks like a pro in about 4 hours. I've never forgotten that ol man, I hope he is still alive and kicking. Somehow I doubt that, he was old back then and that was almost 30 years ago. Either way, thanks Mr Bobby LaBorde! You are still one of my fondest memories.
So, all that being said and me being an old man now, git up inere an don evun try diggin nuttin...
For a novice on running the excavator I was impressed with the way you handled the machine,in different situations.just remember you will only get better as you go along.congratulations on getting the excavator.well deserved sir.just continue doing what you do best.be safe.😎😎😎👍👍👍
I’m just upset we won’t see you now and see your lovely smile or see kasia helping you best of luck with your new machine xxxxxx❤😢❤
You did great!! The more you use it the more comfortable you will get.
Congratulations ! In time you will be a pro at this too .but I will miss seeing your smiling face
Yes me too 🤩
New career with a machine!
You did a great job!👍🏼😎
💝💝💝
Congratulations on the new excavator, looks like you have been practicing a lot - great job. I know this will make things a lot easier when the excavator can be used and make the jobs go much quicker. Love your channel
It will certainly be easier for me, because previously my brother could not always help me, because he often had his orders at the same time as me.
Regards and thanks for the comment 🙂👋
You did a great job for a beginner! 🎉
I know it can be frustrating to learn a new skill. Especially when your brother is such an amazing operator. But please don’t compare yourself to him. Also, kudos for saving up and buying the machine in cash. 💪
Looking forward to seeing your progress! Stay safe! 🌞
Keep up with the good work love watching you on RUclips God bless
Thank you and God bless 💝💝
Good Evening from Western Australia. Fantastic! At last you have your excavator working 👏. Practice, Practice and you’ll be as good as your brother. Keep well my friend and Good Bless.
Good morning Lynn 💝💝
No no why do you rate me so low, I plan to be much better than him 😁🤣
Stay healthy and until next time 👋🙂💖
@@msTECH86 I fully expect you to be better than your brother. 😁
Congratulations on your new excavator and thanks for the video.
Congrats on your new toy!!! Sure will save your back at the end of the day!!!
So now I can do in one day the work that would take me several days to do. It was definitely a good investment.
Best wishes to you Monika 🙂💝👋
Congratulations! And you did fine. You will do better and better operating it over time. And don't worry about oopsies, it's all part of the learning process. Great job!
I also hope that with time I will gain experience - as of now I only have a few dozen hours of experience and what's more I work on simple terrain, not on marshy flooded areas. So I am just gaining experience.
I also hope that I will manage to avoid these "oopsie" situations as much as possible 😉😋
Take care 👋
Good Job! I think you did just fine with the excavator
I won't deny it and I'll assume that you're telling the truth 😊
Take care 🙂👋
Congratulations , you did a Nice job 👍👏👏👏❤️
🙂💖👋
Practice makes perfect and you are doing very well as you off your skills 👏👏👏👏👍
Hello Maciej! I'm re-watching you show off on the computer screen. 😉👋👋👋
Haha I'm not showing off, I'm fighting not to drown the excavator there 😋😁🤣
Congratulations!!! I wish you much success.
I hope so 🙂🙂
regards 👋
I thought the Technique was good! this will save you a lot of sweat! keep up the good work!
Thank you and take care.
Congratulations from Texas
Best regards and have a nice day.
You did a great job
Thank you and greetings.
Great job! You can made a walkaround of your "new" excavator! Congrats ❤
I haven't even thought about it yet, because I haven't really had the time for it. But maybe in the future I'll do some kind of demonstration of my "new" machine 😉
Take care 👋👋
Great job with your new machine!!!! I'd to see you after severel hours behind the controls! You'll be deadly!!!
I also hope that practice will make me a much better operator 😎
Stay healthy 👋
Congratulations! Your back will thank you!
Thank you. Oh, for sure 🙂💪
Hellooo Maciej! First, CONGRATULATIONS on your new toy. You did a lot better job than I would have done! 😂😂😂 I’ve been subscribed to Chris of letsdig18 for years and have seen him get in the middle of a pond with water and dig others stuck in the muck. When you have free time, I would suggest looking it up…lots of pros watch him. You know I don’t mean to offend… Wishing you lots of success❣️ Take care, my friend….👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
Good day and thank you 🙂🙂
Sometimes I also watch this channel, although I haven't had much time for it lately - haha spending so much of my savings just to have even more work, there must be something wrong with me 😋🤣
But back to the topic - I hope I never bury the excavator in the mud so much that I won't be able to get out on my own - and I ask you to keep your fingers crossed for that too 😉😊😎💪
Stay healthy my friend 💖💝👋
@@msTECH86 😁🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Congrats. I like the excavator videos better because I guess I am impatient, lol. And really, the excavator does a much, much better job as it reshapes the stream base and banks. Now more work, more money and, more thumbs ups!
Well the cardiologist workout might be over but then again so is the back pain, smart to pay in full then your work is yours not the banks
Maybe I'm too cautious about loans, but at least I know that what I earn is mine, and not that I have to pay it back.
And to answer your question, no, the training hasn't ended, because I've already had the opportunity to work manually four times in places where there was no way to get there with an excavator.
But but but.... You should be in Paris competing in the branch throwing contest????
Do we have to wait another 4 years for that?
🤣
Unfortunately, my professional obligations did not allow me to take part in this event 😋😁
Haha but I have to admit that you surprised me with this comment, to the point of tears 🤣😁😂
So, as you write, we will have to wait another 4 years.
@@msTECH86 🙂
superb!! thanks for this!!
Greetings ;D
Practie makes perfect, even in using an excavator.
Maybe one day I'll earn money for a brand new excavator - for now I'm very happy with this one.
Best regards.
Awesome job! and congratulations! Well done!
It's a good excavator in the CASE you need it.
It is certainly a helpful piece of equipment and will expand my scope of work much further.
Keep using it for a year and you will be a pro.
I hope so too - now the most important thing is practice 💪👋
A nice machine and a good investment! I wondered if a couple of scaffold boards at the edge of the dam would help stabiise the machine rather rely on the available mud. If the machine falls in its is good video but no fun for the operator!
It would certainly be a good solution, because such wooden sleepers are used to harden the ground when working with heavy equipment. However, considering the fact that I work alone, it would cause me additional logistical problems.
As for the investment in the excavator and the tow truck, I made the purchase at the beginning of May. However, the season has only started now, so I had time to renovate the machine and get a license.
Thank you for your comment and best regards.
Koronkowa robota 😁 Koparka prawie identyczna jak stara 😉
Bravo
Thank you.
Cześć Maciej,
Congrats 👏to your new investment 👍! Just wonder when will we see first video with your msTECH86 logo on the beam (or cabin) 😉 - ?
Noted your reply to other comment & happy to read that nevertheless you still seem to have opportunities to delight us with your famous manual removals 😃. Also appears you make use of your manual removal experiences even when using the excavator. Noted you just took down the top of the dam first to start some initial draining, but then also worked downstream to remove the sticks and mud there before further lowering the dam from top again.
Pozdrawiam serdecznie z Bawaria!
Happy you can clear up the beaver dams without so much stress on your back. Great job. Enjoyed the video.
CONGRATULATIONS ! On your new piece of equipment ! Very Nicely Done !
🦾💪🏼🦫🚜🇵🇱👍🏼
Thank you Jerry.
I hope it will serve me without any problems 💪🙂😀🚜
Congrats on finally getting an excavator.
Thank you. I was already thinking about buying an excavator last season, but I preferred to save up the entire amount.
Regards 👋👋
10/10 very good and congratulations on you new machine.
Thank you 🙂🙂
Best of luck with the new beast
Thank you 🚚🚜💪
Well done. You didn't look like a learner.
Cześć Maciej.
Gratuluję zakupu ,niech machina dzielnie służy. No i zawsze bezpiecznej pracy życzę Tobie i pomagierom ,co w zasięgu łyżki będą.🤪
Some observations
(a) Your friend - the man who was doing your previous jobs with his excavator is going to get less work from you
(b) You will go home dryer and not covered in smelly beaver water
(c) Kasia will thank you because she doesn't have to wash your smelly, wet, dirty clothes too much any more.
The guy who helped me was my brother. Sometimes we went on his orders, and sometimes on mine. And yes, Kasia will be much happier, although even now she still has to remove some dams by hand, because it's not possible to get there with an excavator.
2 things, 1, on saving the money 1st and then buying a machine, you are working for yourself not the bank.
2nd the operating of the machine, “That which we persist in doing becomes easier to do not because the nature of the task changes but our ability to preform it increases.”
Heber J Grant
Are the majority of those dams uninhabited? How often are they rebuilt by the beavers? You look like you have been running that machine for years.
Congrats! Gotta admit, that operation was painful to watch 😅 but it'll be interesting to see how you get better!
I've been running heavy equipment more than 50 years. EVERYONE has to start somewhere. I personally think he did really well for a beginner. He WILL improve quickly.
Don't worry, everything has its positive sides - at least now the video episodes with the excavator won't be as short as the previous ones 😋😋
Take care 👋
Calm down, at least I know he's telling the truth.
I know perfectly well that to be a good operator you need at least 2 years of continuous work with an excavator, so I still have a lot to learn 🙂
At the moment, the most important thing for me is that my work is carried out safely and that I don't sink the excavator anywhere. The rest will come with time.
