Just taken the 1.4 adam rocks air, for a test drive and loved it. Not sure what the issue of headroom was as my partner and I both commented on how much there was. We decided to go car hunting and couldn't find anything inspiring, then stumbled across the older Adam, and thought 'what a funky car' I was a 'real' mini owner from years ago and miss the go-kart drive. It is what it is and I would personally want the 150hp sport version but it's my partner that's buying it so the n/a 1.4 is ideal, the car is very quiet, no road noise that we could hear and well fitted out with a very solid feel, in comparison the new 'Viva' was horrid, boring to look at and looked very basic with a flimsy feel to it. No I give the Adam a thumbs up (despite it's stupid name) it looks fun and it is fun, and we need to stop taking life too serious, it's the best rival to all other mini cars of today, but that's just my opinion.
That was sooooo harsh! It's a very striking, good looking car with tonnes of standard equipment and technology and that engine is really fun to drive! Yes it's expensive but all she went on and on about was size, IT'S NOT AIMED AT FAMILIES SO IT DOESN'T MATTER. I've taken mine to IKEA and the seats fold almost flat so I had no problems with hauling big stuff about, and as for passengers, who needs them haha? If your friends don't like the short leg space, let them drive! Save your fuel for a fun thrash through some B roads and enjoy it!

This review is horribly subjective and off point...And how are you comparing this to the VW UP? The Agila (and upcoming Viva) are to be compared to the UP. This is a lifestyle car. The only possible car to compare it to should be the Fiat 500.The Mini is. although a lifestyle car, even larger than the Vauxhall Corsa, so why would you possibly compare it to that? NOBODY considering a Vauxhall Adam, moreso the Adam Rocks, will take legroom into the equation..
I LOVE honest reviews, please dont stop. *BUT*, this review was very bad... constantly comparing it to Mini, an X3 more expensive BMW... thats just unprofessional

Next time just go and made review on RR Phantom and there will no be drawbacks as comfort noise space and etc...

I wouldn't define this car as "cool". You cannot argue with taste but for me it's on par with the Citroen Cactus, one of the worst looking cars I've ever seen.
Shiny plastic has no business in an interior, unless its a really thin piece of trim. Looks bad from the start with the dust and fingerprints and will only get worse as it scratches.
What an awful looking car!! To me it still looks like the old generation Ford Ka with a stupid face. I can totally see what Vauxhall are trying to achieve, but have failed miserably with the Adam. Give me a VW Up any day!

Just like the late Ford Fusion and the sandero step way there is just no point in it no market for it at all If you want a small off-roader then there are many more appealing options
All of a sudden, MINI doesn't have the worst designers anymore. And the person who named this car should be chased out of the Vauxhall HQ with sharp office appliences.
I doubt this can be put up against the Mini, simply because the Mini isn't a small car anymore, its huge! For sure not in the class of Adam or Up. And for a city car it's all about the look, and Up it's not worth even mentioning.
She is much much better than Rebecca. It was hard for me to listen to that heavy accent. Ginny is much more relaxed and the new video editing with softer and elegant music just adds up to it. Thumbs up for the new format. Keep it up
Hated these cars until i watched a video of them rallying, that gave me a new found respect for them. I still think its just a blatant attempt to copy the fiat 500 and in my eyes looks a far too similar shape!
I have the Adam S and it is a superb car, I actually wanted a small car and I don't have any issues with headroom, my rear passengers might be a bit squashed but I bought the car for me not them! some people are just too hard to please, that's why we have choice.
