Michael Flatley, a great dancer, not so great an interior designer, however the exterior is still intact and looking well. The new owner will have some work to do.
It is quite theatrical! I imagine he loved the dramatic rooms.
The only thing missing is the golden toilet.

My Great Grandmother was a Hyde from Ireland but walked out of the house one day & disappeared when my Grandmother was about 18 months old & never came back. Would love to find out more but nobody in the family seems to know anything.

@@white_clover767 lol...I didn't mean a literal Russian oligarch. I used the term to describe the horrible choices made for the decor. It LOOKS as if a Russian oligarch/Middle east oil sheik decorated the place in nouveau riche ostentation.

The exterior was beautiful, the interior Trumpian - too much gilding everywhere, ostentatiously opulent. What a shame the elegant exterior was not matched inside.
I though only the trumps had such godawful taste......I mean who could not love that salon in Aubergine
