Thanks for honoring the fine people of Harkers Island with this video. As a Beaufort native I grew to love and respect them over the years. Not shown, or not clearly shown is a ballfield dedicated to Manly Gaskill a friend and teammate who was lost at sea. We all honor his memory and grieve his loss. Thanks again for making this video.
I too am a native from North River on Hwy 70 East. We love Harkers Island and the natives there. My father sold insurance on the island all of his life. He was known as "Baker" to all. Thank you for watching it means alot.
I love and appreciate this video so very much. My heart and soul belong to Harkers Island. When I miss it or am sad I watch your video. The music is great too. Thank you kindly for making and sharing. ❤️
I am so humbled. Harkers Island is certainly a little piece of heaven right here on earth. Thank you for watching and coming in to be with us. God bless you. I love this place too, my father sold insurance all his life and had practically every person on the island. His name was Mr. Baker.
My hometown is the best 💙💚💜 wish I knew more about the Native American history there. Love the stories about when a big shell mound used to be at Shell Point! They unfortunately dismantled it and used it to help make the first road on the island.
I'm one of the Harkers Island Bridge operators. That was my car at the bridge house so I was working that day. I have taken thousands of beautiful pictures from the top deck of the bridge house of boats, sunrises, sunsets, people, and the new replacement high rise bridge construction. I put the pictures on my facebook page and have over 1400 followers.

Still amazed we got a dollar general! No stoplights anywhere Down East! But plenty of bridges and churches!
Dear friend, I love this music that it touched my heart. Can you tell me that what this song is? Thank you ❤.
