Jonah Evans is a Christian Community Priest, and this is PART II in our three part series. To start with, I ask Jonah about his thoughts on Jordan Peterson, which launches us into a conversation about archetypes, stories, myths and finding our place in the Whole of human and world evolution. From there we explore blame and responsibility, how to know what spiritual “work” is ours and ours alone, how some pain can turn into a gift we offer the world, while sometimes we have no choice but to bear pain. I ask Jonah “how do we love each other?” And we explore this mysterious and painful social phenomenon together.
    Thanks for watching!

Establishing a relationship with God and setting the goal of becoming at-one with Her/Him is what aligns us with a world with no pain.
Once you understand what is in harmony with God's loving laws, you can and do live a life of peace and happiness.
One of my biggest challenges was an angry coworker. As I simply allowed my feelings to flow thru me and started honoring the space I needed to do this, even if it meant leaving work for a few hours transformed this 40 year pattern. I also faced my fear and spoke to him where on the past I'd get angry. These three things transformed me and this relationship completely changed to one of peace and respect. Once in awhile he has an outburst and I'm no longer triggered. I can sit back and have compassion that he's wrestling with this challenge.
These steps dissolve the old stories.

It was not always this way. We are just coming out of the dark ages. History and archeology shows pre western civilization, there were very highly evolved societies in every way. This said, great discussion on dealing with what is in the here and now personally or as a collective. That we can use what we go through for good and evolution one person at a time.Check out The Myth of Normal by Gabor Mate.

Duuuude. Elisha, you are such a a badass. I see it as a VERY reasonable response to noticing a condition that is amplifying pain for MANY people and seeking to change it! I like that you're using all that you've learned about the connections within a body and fascia system and applying the metaphor to the greater reality. It's hard for me NOT to get annoyed when a man doesn't seem to have the capacity to even begin to relate to what a woman is speaking about when it comes to abuse and our own stories of it. Anyway, very interesting conversation. I relate to a lot of what you're saying about looking at the financial systems too and how that relates to our families and survival methods and modes... Anyway, you're really smart and loving and I really appreciate you and your content

Jordan Peterson scared me off from religion even more. He seems so consumed with hatred and pain.
