Halo Remix - "Combat Evolved Theme": Remixed, ReArranged & ReOrchestrated by me for the Fans of the Halo Series...
No audio clips of the original were used. Every sound, instrument and note that you hear has been carefully programmed and mixed by me.
This is part remix, part rearrangment and part self composed. Its meant to be seen more of an expansion rather than a copy.
The main feature of this remix is the halo main melody (Choir in the original)that i complety rewrote in 3/4 measure and composed actual harmonies to accompany it. It is also faster paced than the original.
My aim with this remixes is not to replace or copy the original but to show a new perspective on a well loved track and make a new piece of music that can stand on its own.
The Fan Made Music is accompanied by cut and color graded footage from various halo trailers and cutscenes.

10 years later and it’s still one of the best orchestral remixes/remakes of the Halo theme. This truly has bested the test of time. I loved it when it first came out, and still do now. Amazing work!

I fully agree. Hell I remember playing these games when I was little. Halo will always be my childhood game. Nothing will ever beat or replace it.

Guys, guys. This shouldn't be the Halo 2 Anniversary theme, or combat evolved, or Halo 5: Guardians, or any of the other Halo's. I will be all of them together. Halo: The Master Chief Collection theme right here!

I am already a composer. I can compose just as well as i can remix and im sure that alot of games could profit from having my music. Its just that i havent sent out any demos to companies yet. But i guess it's about time that i change that.

I love it man! When I got into Halo, it was during 343i's early years, my first games were Reach, H4, & odst. It was 5th grade when I started getting into Halo and this remix was my favorite song. You did a great job with this! I get some insane nostalgia when I hear this.

This brings tears to my eyes, i remember the first time i played Halo CE, Out of all the games i have played in the world, this is the only game that brought sadness, joy, excitement and a whole bunch of other things you just dont get from a game now days. This game will always be in my heart, from the music to the levels and i hope in the future, there will be more games like this.....thank you bungie, for bringing me such greatness over the years.
Same here. Played the whole game through with my friend on one go. I'm more of playstation guy (got ps1-4), but halo from 1 to 3 were amazing. Got to buy x360 someday just to play halo 1-3 and reach again.
Never been a console player. But I can appreciate good music when i hear it, and the Halo series got loads of it.

I apparently visited this video almost ten years ago as a kid. I can't tell if I actually said that I loved the remix because I was talking about Reach, apparently. Happy to see the channel is still active.
When Chief exits the cage, and the tone of the music darkened, it was literally the most epic thing I have ever scene. I literally want this to be the theme for Halo 6. It blends so well, and the mood of the music changed so beautifully. 110% respect goes to the people who wrote, composed, and performed this piece.

343, the reason people didn't like halo 4 was because you forgot one of the most important, if not the most important thing about halo, the music. We honestly don't want new themes, we just want our precious original halo themes. Thank you for fixing your mistake in halo 5's music.
Why buy the games if you like the music most? Just buy the soundtrack (presumably cheaper).

Apparently I downloaded this onto my HDD in 2013, I found it when looking for an identifiable, copyright free blip of the Halo theme for my new video. I think this will work nicely! I'm happy to see the original track is still here on RUclips so I can give proper credit. Hope you're doing well!
This is pretty nice but are there any remixes that actually get the drums right? This theme is about the rythmic drums pumping you THE FUCK up to go out and slaughter covenant in droves. This theme is about donning the Mjolnir Powered Assault Armor, jumping out of a dropship and, together with your AI, deciding the outcome of entire wars.
If Halo was released in 1939-1940, this theme would accompany the blitzkrieg, being played by trucks with large speakers driving along with the German panzer divisions into France.
That's what the Halo theme is about. Please make a remix like that and I will love you

I love the video you chose for this. Its got Master Chief in it, but hes not the main focus. It really helps to give that feeling that all of humanity was there fighting along side him. Its like the books condensed in to an awesome 4 minute experience.

You sir, are a genius. After hearing this and the Halo 4 soundtrack sample that was released on Halo Waypoint (and I believe other sources), I truly believe that you would make a finer choice as the composer. You managed to change how the track sounded, but still managed to keep the "Halo" feel to it. I doubted that it could be done, but you made it a reality.
so let me get this straight. This guy wrote the music for my favourite game of all time (A Hat in Time), remixes tons of tracks from my favourite series of all time (Sonic the Hedgehog), and remixed the theme of a game series I really like (Halo). That's an instant sub!

The only grip that I have with this piece is that theres an intrsument off to the right side of the music thats got this strange wub wub effect thus making it sound like its a second or two behind the other instruments. Im not dissing dubstep or trying to compare it to dubstep in any way cause this obviously isnt that kind of music, its just what it reminds me of. Its only really noticable during the beginning parts of the song where the instruments are about midway through the chorus. Its the only annoying thing, besides that this piece made my eyes water, making me want to cry. So beautiful. Great work!

Trailers for Halo Wars were the only times I thought of Halo's story as a war.
I'm so glad Halo 5's score is returning to it's roots. I liked some of Halo 4's tracks, but one of the things this series has become known for are it's epic music.

One of the only things Halo 4 was lacking in was continuing the tradition of getting a new take on the classic Halo theme. If they had decided to do it, This should have been their choice. Hands down.

In my opinion it`s a step in a new direction and refreshing. The War vs the Covenant is over and a much more dangerous threat awaits. The war changes, so the music does. But deep in the heart it`s still the old good Halo we all know. I still hope that they play this theme in the ladt mission of Halo 6.
