- This father and son duo have previously been on the vlog and these identical Alpha 18X GTR builds are nothing short of amazing! In today's episode, we follow Dale as he works on the Syvecs ECU on Andy's GTR then we get to hear some power pulls on the dyno! Lastly, some of the AMS employees headed to Top Gear Powersports to pick up a handful of Pit Bikes for some after-work rippin.

With proper fueling, these kits can be pushed to make much more HP!

Wish we had these cars in the uk. People just don’t build them here. Don’t take your freedom for granted. The uk law just flat out stops us from building cool cars for the road.
If the EPA gets its way that all may change. There’s too much money in car culture in the USA though

yup, there are plenty, just not as well documented with videos etc... in fact I have one myself that is due back from MRT automotive in the next few weeks, few last pieces to do.... just in time for winter lol @@eken9t
I’ve always wondered about these kits, does the GTR have to be FBO first or drop it off stock and pick it up making 1000+?

Is Syvec better than Link or MoTec? I have a Nissan V8 I'm preparing to tune.
Really comes down to personal preference and features. We use Syvecs and MoTec here at AMS.

Why did they changed windshield? I don't see crack?
Windshield was removed for the roll cage install.
What makes the VR38 better than the VR30?

Those stock throttle body's? If not I feel like oversized throttle bodies would flow better especially at that power number.
Also Bugatti fuel pumps will solve the fuel problem completely.

Why Syvecs over Motec?
These are drag builds, and those seem to work better with Syvecs afaik
Or simply the customers asked for Syvecs ECUs, because I doubt they would put something that won't work in an AMS build
Hello Ian! For the R35 GTR's we offer Syvecs, MoTec, and the Cobb Access Port as tuning options. It is all up to the customers and what they decide to choose for their builds! Hope that clears things up a little.
How much does this cost?
Pricing can vary greatly depending on what all is being done with the vehicle. Since this video was made, we have recently released our Omega line of GTR turbo kits that are much more cost effective with better performance. The Omega 14 kit ($9,999.95) can get you near 1350+ whp, but you will also need to build the transmission and motor at that level.
Hummm I thought Alpha 12 was 1200hp Alpha 16 was 1500hp Alpha Omega was 1800hp and up? I'm slow sorry
They say in the video these cars are limited by Injectors/Fueling. Cars can make more when the customers are ready
This is correct, the 18X kit is rated for 1650whp+ and 1100+tq. The builds in the video still have some headroom for more power when ready!

Base 18x kit is 15k.
Website has base prices but I’m sure you can get pretty deep into cost with stuff
@@kylewhite1683 that’s just for the turbos lol. Full Alpha 10 package costs $70k installed. This has to be $120kish installed.
