Hi Will. Completely stuck in our upcoming move to a new little village , but even so I keep following your "roller coaster creative adventures" every two or three days ;). A little awkward to say, I guess, but I've to admit it's reassuring to see such a professional artist being so much shook up by a new & intense artistic challenge, facing different kinds of pressure again. For sure, everything's gonna get on the same tune with your intentions, your hopes, your powerful "workforce" and your talent ! Keep having fun while drawing/telling stories and keep sharing all of this with us, that's an essential rendez-vous ! :) (Hey man, this first page is great and already addictive ! Coooooooooool ! ^^)
That's a pretty awesome first page! I think you're pretty brave because it looks like very deep self-disclosure and therefore vulnerability. No wonder you kept re working it, I would too, but then I have perfectionism issues. :) Goodnight Emmett!
Will, that's awesome! Congrats on making some progress. Hey, maybe at some point you can pan over to those books, an let us know what's in your library of inspiration and instruction 😀
Your 'addiction' phrase reminded me...A buddy of mine who got me into painting got his first show in '04 and no one really didn't see him outside of work for a couple weeks. He had accumulated over 20 pieces and he told me, "I never thought I'd hate painting as much as i do right now". He stuck with it and improved, naturally. The first page is looking really good, and that panel is something to frame for inspiration, the in/out of the creative process.
The beginning of this made me giggle :) Cool Play Button! I want one so bad but I don't even have an active channel, so it's a very unlikely dream 😂 I'm not doing a formal 100 day challenge, but as I've been following you, I've felt inspired to keep working on my own projects. I finished the inks for the third chapter of my webcomic (www.DeltaComic.com) and finished a couple of other pages for a small comic project I'm doing for fun. Thanks for being inspiring!!
keep smiling :) hi will, just another subscriber here who appreciates your art and your journey, thanks for sharing and happy encouragement with your every day goals :)--and lol yes, deadlines are our friend :p
looks great...hey, absolute worst case scenario you could have a pencils only "preview" book ready instead of rushing to complete the whole thing..? just a thought..but that first page is NICE!!
I noticed you have some type of pen/marker display on a shelf in your desk. Would you please tell me where you got it from, or where I might be able to locate one? Thanks.
your baby is so beautiful! your comic page looks fantastic. I hope you let us know when your comic is available to purchase. ive been a fan of yours for a year or more and its been a great joy to watch your style develop into what it is today. im very impressed
Lubbock con as in Lubbock Texas? Im in levelland... And thus is scaring me at 1:29 am! THIS IS CREEPY! like seriously, when will you ever watch a video if an artist that's actually near you?
Do you still review portoflio if someone sends you one? It's not hot topic, but If that's possible I'd send you something after some weeks (need to gather stuff that's worth it)
Will - remember "Done is better than perfect"
that first page looked great. I think we can all relate to the message.
Page looks great! 10 hours isn't too bad at all either, especially for such a personal story. YOU, sir... keep smiling. ;) You're doing fine.

Someday I'll visit the US and there will be no escape for you then =D Thanks for quick answer :)
