I told her, "well the good thing is, that you can go to the Mexican aisle and buy these little bags of sopa" .You can buy 3 little bags for .88 cents. I told her that she can add any kind of vegetables and you have a nice warm meal. I shared this video to my daughter; hopefully, she'll make one of these meals. I've told my sister's and daughters about Simy Mama's cooking. I think all her dishes are inexpensive and easy to make.

I'm here in Texas with ya and OMG YESSS it's freezing 🥶 We can't walk outside the house without slipping on about 1/2 inch of ice right now! 😅 Definitely doing crockpot meals the next few days! Already got some beef tips and gravy going and gonna make some homemade mashed potatoes in a bit. Tomorrow's my popular homemade chili and sweet cornbread 😋 Might have to add this recipe for our Sunday meal! Looks yummy!

Made the one with chicken tonight. Turned out great. I maybe put a bit too much oil. I probably needed 2 T or 3T max…I put 5…but, everything was seasoned well. My husband is picky with chicken. He was wondering if it could be made with chicken breast but I think those are too dry. Might try with a breast on the bone with skin and then chop it after and place in. I really want to try the other two recipes on this video. Love your videos!

Thank you for this video. May I ask have you tried beef bouillon powder with the soup that has ground beef? I was thinking I might prefer it, but don't want to mess up the flavor profile if it really needs to be the chicken bouillon.
I never use water for my fideo, homemade chicken stock and less liquid. I prefer my fideo thicker and not like soup at all. Fresh garlic 🧄 and onion is better than powder
Avoid the yellow box noodles if possible. Seek out a better quality vermicelli. You can often find it in bird nest form or stick form then break into pieces.
