You and I like cities so I know you are not one of those people. I sure ate all those pastries and whatever else I could fit in my belly while in New Orleans. Food there is really good regardless of where I found it. So good. Thank you, Mary.
I’ve always wanted to see the river that far south, I used to live by Itasca state park where the river begins and it’s only 10ft wide now I live 3 blocks away from the river in the Twin Cities and its still only about 200 yards.
No bottom bracket! Oh no. The problem kept coming back though. It was in Hot Springs, Arkansas that I finally figured it out. It was a delaminating crank arm.
I certainly enjoy your stories of your cycling across the country. I enjoy them so much I'm wanting to ride my recumbent trike down the Mississippi River trail from Lake Itasca, MN to New Orleans, the 2600 mile trek. it would be my first Cycling adventure. my only issue that comes to mind is my health issues. Robert OKV, OK.
Hi Robert. I would say to talk with your physician and create a game plan. There are hospitals and pharmacy's and all you need on the road in case something arises. I sure hope you get to do it. Keep me posted. Especially if I can help.
I don't do reviews yet. Not enough time to do all I would have to and keep my day job. But if you look in the description box of every episode, you will find a list of all my camping gear and components that make up my bike. It's all there. If you have further questions you can ask me as well. Thanks for watching.
I was curious what the route was from New Orleans especially knowing you're looking to include as many states as possible and you haven't been to Arkansas yet. Then I guess Oklahoma then Texas then to NM as you've made note of earlier in this season. So, i40? (No need to tell me. Just thinking out loud) The patchwork roads look like New York sometimes. Fingers crossed that you're heading into Vicksburg and maybe a glance at the sites of the Siege of Vicksburg and maybe an ironclad.
I hear you. Never thought of it and yeah you are right, both those cities are special and the river footage was cool. Not sure I can fix it now, though. Thanks, Buck.
ALRIGHT, I was sold on this video from the get-go with the jazz music! Thoroughly enjoyed the trip around New Orleans. What was your reason for taking a train? If you like jazz music, may I suggest that you check out a podcast featuring two of my sons called theunconnoisseur . They discuss an album each week. Thanks Diego for your attention to detail as you report your adventure. ❤😅
I will certainly check out the theunconnoisseur podcast. Very cool your sons are into jazz. I took the train because I would have had to back track the same way I came down so I figured save the three days it would have taken to get back to Jackson. Thanks for watching this episode. It was a fun one to put together.
What a fun way to see New Orleans, you can go a little slower and see places most people don’t get to see. Thanks for another great bike tour, Diego! Nicely done!
This one was a fun short one to make. The Amtrak was a great experience that now has opened up the opportunities for future tours and trips. Until next time.
HAHA! Hi Bryan. You got the inside scoop on that one. Hope you are well. I'm deep into fishing now and looking forward to editing time. Thank you for checking it out.
Second time but it had been a while and not with a bicycle to go ride around like I did. Cycling a city is so much more fun then walking around or driving.
Short and sweet
Visually enjoyable
Your videos are always nice to wake up to and start my day
😊
Thanks!!!
Thank you so much. Your comments are always so encouraging.
Nice jazz.
Thank you.
1) Did you eat all 3 pastries? We have breakfast envy,
2) nice to showcase 😢the city while on your bike because many bike tourist avoid cities

You are welcome. Glad you enjoyed it.

Nice flowing production. Glad it wasn't your bottom bracket. A lot of history there. Take care, Al

I checked out your RUclips channel, BIKE TOURING NATURE, and watched a couple of your episodes, they are really fun to watch. I'll be watching more.
Thank you! Let me know if you go to Sweden😀@@FlyscoutRyder
do you have a video in which you go over your bike and camping setup?

Should have included the Patreon footage in this as well. ;)

is your bike a lynskey backroad?
It's a GR300. I got the frame and fork from them and built it myself. The components list is in the description box. Thank for watching.
Love your videos. Keep up the good work

What bike are you traveling on
Lynskey GR300. Best bike I've ever had.
