So naturally I went to Spotify looked up a couple songs saved it to my favorites. Then I went to recommended artist. It was over from that point out. The first I clicked on was Wretch 32, his music lifted my soul, and is one of the main reasons I continued to look for other artist, what I loved the most is I never heard him rap about having money, drugs, cars, guns, clubs, and hoes, or any of the other superficial things that we listen to over here that everyone thinks make you a a rapper or an artist, if anything like that was mentioned it was his journey to obtain things like that. So after adding countless songs I could find by Wretch. I stumbled upon a song called echoes by Wretch and Avelino..... A tag team so ignorant I couldn't think of a better duo, and I know people from the kingdom would disagree.... Y'all would probably say yo man what about Krept and Konan. Relax y'all I hadn't got that far yet lol. But I learned besides the YFOF they had a couple goes on the fire in the booth with Charlie and daily duppy's. My world was spinning with all these links to new shit. But I always saved individual artist songs. When it came to Avelino y'all might hate me for this but my favorite song is higher power. I don't know why I can't get enough of that one. But I once again loved his music. He rapped about his struggles and never bragged about his successes. If anything he's proud and not entitled. Since then I've listened to plenty of artist from the kingdom so much so that the majority of my playlist consist of British music of all types. I have Wretch, Avelino, Ghetts, Chip, Skepta, Headie one, Stormzy, Nafe smallz, Digga D, M1llionz, SL, Backroad gee, Pa salieu, Wstrn, I could keep going.... But you get the jist of it. I want to think GTA 5 for plugging me in to the best music I've heard in a long time. I appreciate the music y'all make and If Wretch did pass the torch he chose wisely.
