Easier to put up with the smell of shite as putting up listening to the sound of shite from people who have no connection with how their food is produced.
Well grassmen and farmflix can move over now Sammy, you've got so much charisma and charm about you, by far the best video I've watched for chat and banter for ages. I think you could take this channel to big thing's Sammy, you've got the confidence and chat to make people talk and have a bit of fun, if only wee kyle plonked your ass on the electric fence though 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😎😎
Im Scottish but Was more than 10 years ago but I think I remember watching you in a movie at some point. I found this video on youtube randomly. Love your videos like this you a have great aura
@@sammyluckydaycomps not a farmer just from that back ground. We have a decal business where I reproduce tractor, plant and machinery decals for people/ farmers and dealers who are refurbing machinery. We reproduce and send all over world and fit it locally and have sign business but the farming industry is a big interest
You know all those hundreds of thousands of gallon of shite is destroying all the water courses and streams and why that big lake you got over there goes green every year.
When will Ireland go towards more agriculture towards grains, beans and fuel based plants. Spreading slurry seems wrong to me . Even the dairy /meat industry is unnecessary and detrimental to environment. Wouldn’t it be beautiful to have green belt paling all the rivers , knock down the hydro damns to let the salmon run the long rivers of Ireland. Perhaps have wild dear and birds run wild and be hunted for meat . This is the natural world , self regulating, natural mechanisms to control disease and viruses, with scavengers , vultures etc . The above environment is actually the true history of Ireland, cattle came to Ireland only two thousand years ago .
I agree with you about the slurry it's awful poison to be adding to the food chain. I don't agree that dairy and beef farming are unnecessary though, and can you please explain how beef farming in Ireland is bad for the environment.
I’m not a eco warrior or woky vegan , just a nature lover , I lived and studied in North America for a while and studied the migratory animals (related to the inbred overly domesticated beef cow ) Buffalo, deer ,elk , moose are nomadic herds that fertilized the ground , cropped the foliage created plains and forest paths . The coyotes, wolves selected the weak and diseased keeping in check viruses and diseases. Humans hunted these animals including in Ireland .( before cow) I believe (based on academic studies from many other sources) that the claim that the cattle industry is the worst thing for the environment holds some truth) The off gassing from slurry and flatulence is destroying the ozone layer (the protective blanked of the earth) leveled the forests (Ireland was described as impenetrable forests by the the first visitors 1500 years ago . Human baby needs human milk not milk with cow harmones that nature needs to grow these large grazing animals. Many people are lactose intolerant and some have adapted to process this cow milk . Not necessarily the cultures who weren’t exposed to this industry. The cow is a domestic animal bred to feed humans and was developed in Eurasia probably from African buffalo or similar. Also consider foot and mouth disease and mad cow more likely natures way of correcting this factory conveyor belt world where cattle are turned into burgers . Even this domestic animal the cow doesn’t deserve this fate . Same goes for salmon farms and poultry farms for mass production. Either the humans have to vegetarian or we bring back the natural world of hunting wild animals, perhaps both .
India feeds a billion people and has large Hindu population that eat grain ,fruit , bean protein. We definitely need farmers , and I’m fairly certain humans will move in this direction in time . I’m also hoping the farmers would be happier with different kind of farming , agriculture vs cattle farming. We would have to study agriculture (wheat ,bean ,fruits and veg vs cattle farms ) Our history is mostly wheat/barley as suggested by archaeologists and megalithic stone culture.

“plant-based agriculture grows 512% more pounds of food than animal-based agriculture
That stuff can't be good to be putting on land.
Pig slurry is very good for the ground one of the best fertilisers you could put out
Never thought hearing a woman saying sh**e so many times could be a turn on. But it is

When we return to a time the consumer spents 50% of income on food instead of 5% as is today, all of the above becomes a reality. Think about that....
