There are some good things going on. Both fighters are really trying to show their style. While(in my opinion) they are still figuring out how to utilize the techniques in different live situations they are out there trying and working hard. Both are respectable for that alone. We are all trying to learn and grow in martial arts and this is a way to grow and learn. This is true martial arts. Without live situations in friendly competition to bring out our best show will we ever evolve the martial arts for real situations? Great job guys! Respect!
If you're going to try to use wing chun in the ring, with boxing gloves, PLEASE ditch the extended arm and learn how to cover your head better! Man sao/wu sao is only good for training. All it does in a real fight is let your opponent see your reach and your strategy. BOTH guys really need to improve their footwork. Other than that, it was an ok fight.
Embarrassing. That Boxer was throwing such wide shots. But the WC boxer was to damn slow to block them. Gung Fu has got to prove itself. It's looking too bad now!
Because unlike boxing match that get pay a bunch of money to continuously take hits until someone is knock out, these events don't get much sponsor and want to be safe. If you want to throw away safety and not get compensate enough for your medical bill, you can go ahead. But these people are smarter enough to not do that.
Good fight! Because they show their original style of traditional martial art. This is a very rare case.

小弟不會這樣說，双方都很守規則，也很會留手，兩位都是很斯文的業餘選手，所以跟平時見慣的擂台比賽很不同。換一个角度想想，如果每一位選手都是打死人冇命賠咁，邊位師父會送他的業餘弟子去比賽。

Yes！聽老前輩講，未做師傅唔易明白乜事，今時今日，有邊嗰師傅仲會眯埋眼送弟子上擂台俾人打扁，大多都係關埋門教得幾多得幾多，總之唔好出外郁手郁脚招惹事非，上上大吉也！今天應該感謝有這樣一个平台，讓大家實習一番。利申：不是國術師傅！

聰仔 所以我欣賞那個學詠春參賽者，起碼佢肯嘗試運用佢所學，如果唔用就唔好開國術牌頭參賽，從來無看小任何功夫，覺得真是人問題，決定左學就要打返出來，輸不重要，重要係吸收經驗及改良，才有進步，這麼放棄自己招式，那當初為何要學這門功夫？學了後目的又是為了什麼呢
