We just bought one! Most of the state parks we visit only has the dump station and this will certainly come in handy when we have to make a trip to the dump station and not have to worry about how much water we use now.
@@cgard73cg That’s so wonderful to hear! It will definitely make things easier on you guys when you don’t have full hookups. Thanks for watching & happy camping! 🚌🤩
At the nine minute mark. I’ve always been told when you’re doing the black tank flush that you need to have your tank valve shut. The cleaning process works better. If you let it fill halfway then release your waste. Thank you.
We bought the 38 gallon Camco....just used it yesterday, that thing is HEAVY when full. Maybe I should have bought the smaller one but I thought less trips is better. Thanks for the hints. Jeff & Cynthia
@jeffreyharteig4965 we thought about buying the 38 gallon as well. Hope it helps! They safe very heavy but certainly nice to have. Thanks for watching & happy camping! 🤩
Lol luv your bloopers! Yep I do this routine lots but with a 37 gallon rino, I do the lifting by myself heavy!! BTW I'm 55 yr old women full time living space thats not full hook ups!
@scarletmiller2922 Thank you! 😂 Wow, congratulations on going full time & that’s amazing that you do this by yourself! We understand it’s a lot of work and commend you! Thanks for watching! 🤩
great video. yeah, its a bummer to disconnect your rv and take it to the dump station. this allows us to keep the rig at the site, and bring the waste to the hole at the rv park. gonna pull the trigger on the 15 gallon. there's only 2 of us. greetings from the smoky mountains. stay safe and keep the videos coming.
Thank you for this video. We just bought one of these. I was nervous about it but watching your video made me feel much better about my purchase. Although, my husband want to get the 36 gallon instead of 28 gallon... in his mind bigger is better I guess. I hope that doesn't create too much of an issue. I read some comments that the 36 or 40 gallon is way to big. But our camper is on a permanent spot so we're not moving around alot
@SandyBarefootGarden The 36 gallons is a Super Doodie. iIt will be heavy to move for sure but nice to have the extra space. Definitely being on a permanent spot helps. They do make a carrier that can help move it from one location to another. Thanks for watching & we hope you have subscribed to our channel! HAPPY CAMPING! 🤩
I always dump my black tank first and then my grey tank to flush the hose. Then follow up with a water hose at my see through connection which is at the RV. We don't currently have a tote, but are making plans to purchase one prior to our boon docking trip coming later this year. Good information!
Hello guys. Good to see you again! We bought a 40 gallon tank, and later we found out that it was way too big to haul around. We used it a couple of times then sold it at the end. Now we just rent where there are full hook-ups. I'm certain that somewhere along our travels we are going to need one again.
@elhombre57able Great to hear from you! Yes, the 40 gallon is quite heavy. We really like the 28 gallon which is a size we would recommend. Thanks for watching our video & supporting our channel! Happy camping to you guys! 🤩
Were going to our first site without full hookups, we bought this same tote as yours, I was kinda nervous about using it but your demonstration really makes me feel alot comfortable with it.. we’ll see how it goes for us.. Thank you for the video 😎
Thank you so much! That helped me tremendously! I have stuff in my tank from the last time that I haven't dumped it, so I was like how am I going to know if it's too full I ain't trying to clean up no mess
Good video! We never use only the valve under the trailer. That LiL spill is why we use a second gate valve right at the end. Giving us 2 gates for protection. ;)
@JoeFlannery-cz9jn - Yes, that is a wonderful idea and we definitely need to get a 2nd gate valve. Thanks for watching & taking time to comment! Happy camping! 🪵🚌

Thanks ObS, Great video, very helpful as got the 6G model 3 years ago, but still have not used or needed it yet. Bought a couple of large heavy duty casters at Harbor Freight and rigged it to some heavy duty lumber so that can pull by hand or slow tow it with my truck. Figure that 36G's is way too heavy to try to lift it to the tow hitch ball for a guy like me who will be 60 y.o. next year. Also found some large square U bolts at Lowes so that can attach to the TT's rear bumper and some wood to make a bracket to carry the tank while in transit.
@Paul C Thanks for the information and for watching our video! What you have done sounds great! We would definitely like modify ours for easy pulling! Happy camping! 🤩

I used my portable tank and had an issue with the elbow that connects to the piece that fits into the dump station couldn't get it to attach very well coming off or apart while trying to dump
On your extended stays, have you found that you are most often running into full grey water tanks or full black water tanks? Always one tank? Or both 50/50...?
That bumper mount or rhino portable carrier.....was it about 60 bucks and is that bumper carrier one size fits all in other words will it carry all size tanks like the 15 gallon 21 gallon 28 gallon etc
It is a very poorly designed unit. It is not the proper height to be able to actually use. Garbage and Junk and a disaster waiting to happen for the black tank. I HATE mine. The flex hose ruptured after about three uses. You have to switch adapters that are covered in Sh!t. It is a big failure of a product with poor engineering and design by someone who obviously never used one before. Most tanks are 30 gallons. What do you do with the extra 2 gallons of s@@@? You can;t put it back in the tank, so spilling it all over the ground is the only option. DO NOT GET ONE OF THESE if you value your health and sanity.
@jayzeeshawn We are sorry to hear you had such a bad experience with this! Thank you for taking time to comment & we appreciate you watching! Have you thought about reaching out to them? Maybe they can replace it for you? Happy camping anyways! 😭
@@OutsidebySide It is simply an extremely poorly designed product. Using it for only grey water would not be so bad, as you are doing. I advise you to never use it for black water. If you do, please do an honest review of your experience. Thanks

Best way is to leave on the truck bed and use a rv macerator to pump the gray water , then drive the truck to the dump station.
That is my method but on a rack on the back of my Jeep. Also a bladder bag to bring back fresh water
