I have been binge watching your channel and when watching it raises questions. Generally you seem to answer the questions I have as the videos move. I'm running a number of your EA,s on a number of demo's and I must say ! Clever guy. The other night there was a major news announcement on EUR/USD and I thought it might be wise to close the position ! however I did not in the interest of the tests. Yes it went against the (In trade) but today it has recovered without Martindale and scaling ! I have a secondary interest in ETF,s Do you think despite a different investment curve your EA's might work in trading these. There is some much scammy stuff on the internet these days and slick videos, it's a refreshing move to find your channel.
Hi grahamdavison5062, ETFs are tricky to trade with EAs because EAs are used primarily for CFDs. While some indices do trade as CFDs, and you can use EAs for these, it would depend on the structure of the ETFs in question.

Hi pieterdutoit9938, all of the EAs we create are for the specific pair they are created for, based on historical data for the asset and timeframe. The historical data includes news events, etc., however, we suggest pausing trading during news events and major disruptors.

I have a question Petko. Why the EA Studio that uses 10 strategies on one pair have such a high stop loss? Does they work on cent accounts?

Hey Damir. I usually use SL no bigger than 100 pips.
I just wonder do you have any tips how to chose ea for any symbol? Or you just optymalize and make some foward test and then use them or not?
I usually take the EAs that are with the best results and most stable Equity line.

Hello Petko, I ran your last Gold Robot for about 3 days non stop, on broker hankotrade, it was not profitable, the losses were very large while the profits were small. I figured that if I let them run as intended eventually the Robot would start winning, but it did not. I'm sure your EA's work but none of them make a profit on Hankotrade and I have ran more than 10 of your EA's on Hankotrades with default setting and none were profitable. I'll try another Broker, but I don't know if FXview take U.S. customers. Thanks for your hard work.

Hi petko i downloaded one of your robots yesterday and it doesn't seem to be working the trades show in the the "experts" and "journal" section of MT4 but it doesn't show in the trade and account history how can I correct this? I'm using the ONADA platform its a demo account. All of the settings that you have suggested seem to be fine the similey face etc is showing and I have entered your recommended parameters but for some reason it still isn't working properly. I'm new to this and will like to be pointed in the right direction. cheers

is it not more efficient to trade with your own account with 500:1 leverage, instead paying for a prop firm, where you just have a 20:1 leverage?

Unfortunately not, these robots are for MetaTrader only and programmed in MT4 in C++, and MQL5 is based on C+
Do we use icmarkets standard or cent account for EA?
Hi @tengky840, this depends on how much you would like to trade with, your risk tolerance. The EAs will work on both types, but change the settings of the EA when you load it onto your chart, from 0.1 lots to 0.01 or even lower if you are using a cent account. And always test on a demo account first before risking real money.

Hi @garthpetersen, most brokers accept clients from South Africa. Compare a few and see which have the best trading conditions - fees, spreads, commissions.

Hi Petko!, does this strategy use any king of grid?, Im running backtest for last few years of UJ, works all good but on 2022.03.22 the balance falls 36% all of a sudden, would love to be able to attach pics.

Hi user-yk9nt5cw5k, it is not possible to trade with EAs on a phone, Android or other. You need a PC, laptop or VPS for algorithmic trading

All EAs go through profitable and unprofitable periods depending on market conditions. The EAs all still work - they do not expire, however, you should place them on a demo account, monitor their performance and only use them on a live account when they are profitable in current market conditions.
Hello Petko, do you need to be worried about the EA making the exact same orders and trades if many people are using the same EA? How can you solve this so that the account is not banned?
I don't recommend using these on a prop firm challenge, as there is no drawdown protection. Trading them on a live account, even if others are using them, is no problem
Why isn't the icon smiling? And it won't work? I've done it according to the instructions.
Hi r.saputra1238, make sure you enable auto trading / algo trading before placing the EA onto the chart. If it is still not smiling, I'd suggest contacting your broker to make sure they allow auto trading on their platform.

Hi @saifhulayyel9814, Yes, you can start with a small account. Find a broker that offers cent accounts, and adjust the robot's lot size when you place it onto your chart.

Hi YusufBeast, this usually happens if you enable auto trading AFTER you place the bot on the chart. You need to enable auto trading BEFORE you place the EA onto the chart

I followed this video step by step with the fpmarket broker and I was able to upload the EAs successfully to the Metatrader 4 platform, then I turned on autotrading, and finally I put the EAs on the correct currency pairs. I even got the smiley face which suggests that the EA is working but no automatic trades were placed. I tried the steps again on a different day and still not trades were placed. What could be the reason for this?
Hi ginalisakavanaugh2261, it sounds like you followed all steps correctly. Let it run for a few days, and if trades are still not opening, try with a different broker, and different leverage settings.
Hi Petko, do you switch off auto trading 30 minutes before high impact news ? Then switch on again 30 minutes after the news . Because there are 5 robot, so if you switch off auto trading, meaning all 5 robot will be switched off together? Or is it possible to switch off separately?
If you want to switch off separately, remove them from the charts. If you disable the AutoTrading, it will be for all of them.

Hi user-zb8iw2ns4t, as small as possible. 0.01 with very small leverage on an ECN or cent account.

No minimum...it depends on how much you will be trading with. If you start with 0.01 you won't need a lot.

Hi urbane8, please ensure auto trading is enabled before placing the EAs onto your charts, and that you have sufficient funds in your account, with the appropriate leverage.

I downloaded and install each and every one of them. Without managing them manually and trailing SL it is dificuilt to be profitable with these. 5 open positions for each pair every one of them hit SL on a real account.
I do the same thing, I've downloaded about 10 of his robots, and let them run for days and none of them are profitable, lol, maybe it's the broker he's using, I've downloaded all his Gold Robots, and none of them are profitable, maybe it's my broker, but they do not make money as he says they do.
Hey Damir, It is up to you if you will manage manually or not. It might happen that all of the SL but you can't really conclude they are unprofitable EAs from a few days. :)

Hi JezRourkePilott, all EAs will go through profitable and unprofitable periods. Keep them on a demo account, give it some time and then analyse the results using FXBlue. You can also run backtests on the EAs to see how their past performance was to get a better idea of how active and profitable they are in different market conditions. Also, try with a different broker and compare results.

Hi princephiloteris901, yes, your computer will need to be on 24 hours a day, and connected top the internet for the EAs to open trades. However, you can also look at a VPS if this is not a viable option for you.

Hi TradingSkill963, we are looking at tools to translate the videos into more languages. The robot will be profitable in some market conditions, but not others. Keep the EAs in a demo account, and only trade them when they are in a profitable phase.

Hi magictornado34, all of these EAs have been thoroughly backtested, and the results are shown. So, yes I do trust them, but market conditions will dictate performance, and past performance doesn't guarantee future results.

Hi enmanuelfigueroa3381, no, you need to leave your laptop running so it is connected to the server in order for the EA to open and close trades. If you are unable to keep your laptop on and connected to the internet, you could look at using a VPS
