I don't know if he'll survive with archaludon's terrible special bulk but it's a coverage set to make the team less dependent on setting rain atleast.
Btw a set i can recommend on these kind of weezings is Zoom lens and gunk shot. You almost always hit last or at least after an opponent, which makes the will o wisp and gunk shot 100 percent accurate. Ran it in a regional, felt a lot more consistent, even though you dont have the sitrus bulk
i've always liked Weezing/Slaking more than Weezing/Gigas, cause you don't have to lead Weezing, i often lead maybe Murkrow or even another offensive threat, cause Slaking is still gonna nuke something T1. Weezing is also really good right now. Rain teams are really powerful and they are very sad without rain, not to mention that Tatsugiri is running choice items these days, so it also shuts down Dozo. Slaking can do many things, i'm personally running Choice Band right now, so that i can one shot annoying pokemon like Amoonguss and Faririgiraf, there is also obviously the bulk up drain punch set, and the life orb set we see here. I really really like it, knock off over sucker is better tho in my opinion.
It hurt to see so many misses. I feel like recently my RNG has been like this for some reason, super frustrating to lose off of a 5% or 10% chance after making super good reads
bro yesterday i went negative on the most insane streak of things that i think ever happened to me, i got crit by -4 draco meteor, i got hit by blind hurricane + confuse self hit and i hit ONCE on wide lense population bomb. After those 3 games i stopped playing cause it clearly wasn't my day 🤣
If Slaking had a few select unique moves that he could use during the truant turn it would be a awesome pokemon. Anything to punish protecting in front of it on the off turns. Maybe slack off going through truant, or something that reduces incoming damage for the truant turn (either baked in the ability or as a move).
bruh, unless that grimmsnarl in game 3 was adamant and high attack, that crit was a really unfavorable roll to kill too, like holy that was unlucky (edit): nvm he actually has to be adamant and max or almost max attack for his sucker punch to have also down 60 to weezing on a crit so the crit was guaranteed ohko on gholdengo, but the crit did still matter, max without crit is 95.7
That much speed in weezing is pointless just run 236 in special def and I like a bit less investment in my attack on slaking to get more points into special defense I find that I do similar damage at a 136 Calc and live thru make it rain also running fairy Tera can help against the anaialape match ups
Because slaking’s main partner weezing would take big damage from that since it’s running neutralizing gas instead of levitate. Also there’s a rillaboom on the team and grassy terrain halves the power of Earthquake whereas high horsepower is unaffected. Could be more reasons but that’s what comes to my mind
In addition to the reasons mentioned, earthquake is way weaker due to be a spread move, hit your partner's and also is vulnerable to Wide Guard, so it's not really a good option
This season for me is bad. I'm losing games because my moves not landing. It's very annoying then games crashing on me. Been the most annoying season to have
