In many turns I think James apparently forgot about the "Tinted Lens" ability of Braviary which would make Expending Force always better against non Dark Types, specially on Terrain
Whenever i see carbink in team preview i think "what ridiculous setup scenario are they gonna try to pull off on me now" glad to see this team lives up to that legacy lmao the ultimate gimmick mon imo (or gimmick enabler, same diff although smeargle is also a h o e)
Idk about everyone else, but i considered the psychic type to be fallen off around gen 5 with all the strong dark and steel types, but psychic terrain and psychich surge did the job, especially this gen
It's definitely around a bit more, though I think in this case it's mainly because this is a fun gimmick strat where Smack Down is the means of changing the Braviary's type (from Psychic/Flying to Psychic), so you don't need Tera to do that, plus if you Psychic tera'd you wouldn't be weak to Rock so you wouldn't be able to self proc your Weakness Policy with Carbink.
I know it wouldn't hit nearly as hard as with the Weakness Policy, but wouldn't Iron Ball just be a more reliable choice? I realize that the Sneasler would have to go and maybe that's against the spirit of the team... I was just thinking that Iron Ball grounds you.
Can't do FEAR strats because of auto leveling in battles, and Shell Bell won't recover to full because there's no Pokemon in the game with 1248 HP (the HP you'd need to recover all 156 HP on Carbink)
Thank you! This proves the video’s title is easily a lie because it contains an absolute! Phrases with absolutes in them can be easily disproved! It’s like using absolutes is the norm on RUclips! It ticks me off greatly…
bro instantly forgets what tinted lense does on the tera steel dnite

I'm speechless about that last game against muk and archaludon. Incredible!
James for the win in Louisville
Great run at Louisville and shout out to your barber - hair looked amazing
Truth
That Muk game was totally insane
James, you are the best. You brung us so much joy with your nice content and that many funny moments. Wish you the best for 2025👍🏼
Great thing about Farigiraf; they get stab on raw Tera blast, still great damage on Primarina even with the naturally high sp.def
Why did he forget about tinted lens like every time it was in play 😭😭
That is really interesting. I just used iron ball and helping hand and it was ridiculously powerful
How the hell did he win the last game. That’s insane
A rare case of a fun match against Muk

The matches in this video were CRAZY

Love your videos keep it up :)
loving the longer videos
Seems like people are using Stellar Tera slightly more. Guess its benefits are starting to outweigh its downsides.

That last game was crazy...
I wonder if PMC will ever make a poke or held item with the ability to ignore terrain...
I know it wouldn't hit nearly as hard as with the Weakness Policy, but wouldn't Iron Ball just be a more reliable choice?

You may not want to be grounded right off the bat or all the time, like against types that struggle to hit the flying type.
This team looks fun
Who wins, monster bear or g4y rock
I remember using a similar start with iron ball galarian articuno and indeedee back when that dlc released. It was honestly toxic.
jokes on you, i've seen it, i watch mr. marcos moxie boosted
>Sturdy
>Endeavor
have you tried using the funny Shell Bell?
Can't do FEAR strats because of auto leveling in battles, and Shell Bell won't recover to full because there's no Pokemon in the game with 1248 HP (the HP you'd need to recover all 156 HP on Carbink)
My god the SCAM in that Sneasler set
why the double trick room in game 3
I'm not there yet, but I'm going to guess to end and set it again to refresh the duration all in one turn?
Facts@@Kasaaz
@@Kasaaz yep, It was a common strategy with the ice horse but yea hard trick room benefits soo mutch from 2 tr users
