i have a panther that ill be doing,, but from what i can tell you would take off the bottom plate and hold it with the needle nose pliers, then grab the button with regular pliers and pull apart
@@beethovenloco2692 not necessary if they are placed correctly. That job should be done by a technician. If you disalign the action arms you will have a great headache to get them back in position.

Hanz Kilian sorry for the late response, but yes it was sprayed over the plastic using automotive paint, it still has held up with no defects so far
And how did you put the new buttons in its place?
