      I'm hip!
      Right on brother!!!!!!!!!
However, as a very young lady back than, we ladies went Crazy over Marvin's song:
      "Distant Lover"
Therere was no other song ever, not even today, that can put us ladies in the mood that Marvin did with that song, especially the live version!
And, to add to his credit there is no other Albumn not even today that can top his:
      "What's going on Albumn"
if a trillion years go by!
He was a true Genious when he wrote and produce that one.
Berry Gordy turn him down and told Marvin that people did not want to hear a song about war.
The biggest mistake of Berry's Motown Career life. Even Smokey Robinson said:
"That was the greatest Albulmn ever in his lifetime!"
      I love Marvin Gaye!
He'll always be my favorite and number one artist of all in my
      "Etrernal Lifetime!"
Check out these two classic tunes:
      1)- Dream of a lifetime
      and
      2) God is love
      ( both versions)
      Enjoy!!!

My reflection of the world, abusive relationships, and parental wisdom were the themes used. It was the most proud lesson of content (at least to me) I had done.

    [Chorus]
    I want you-the right way
    I want you
But I want you to want me too
Want you to want me, baby
    Just like I want you
    [Verse 1]
I give you all the love I want in return sweet darling
But half a love is all I feel
It's too bad, it's just too sad, you don't want me now
But I'm going to change your mind, someway, somehow, oh baby
    [Chorus]
    I want you-the right way
    I want you
But I want you to want me too
I want you to want me, baby
    Just like I want you
    [Verse 2]
This one way love is just a fantasy, oh sugar
To share is precious, pure and fair
Don't play with something you should cherish for life, oh baby
Don't you want to care? Ain't it lonely out there?
    [Chorus]
    I want you-the right way
    I want you
But I want you to want me too
I want you to want me, baby
When I get down with you, yes, darlin oh ooh
    [Outro]
    Get down baby
    Have mercy
    Listen precious I wanted you
    A long time
    I wanted you
    More than you can imagine
    Oh baby, so fine
I want you - the right way baby
    I want you baby
But I want you to want me too baby
Gotta, gotta, gotta love me sugar
Oh, the way that I love you
    Woooo, I want you
