- Miami Beach has begun its breakup with spring break with city officials enforcing new public safety measures including safety patrols, DUI checks and curfews. Beaches are also closing overnight. CBS News correspondent Cristian Benavides has more.

Cockroaces move around alot, here in Austin we have south by southwest, it is expensive snd the crowd is from around the world, spending money in the best hotels and lines formed and everyone was orderly, that is the way civilized society should act, period!😊

They made Miami safe, now do the same for water parks, malls, outdoor events and any restaurant with word house in it.

I’m 25 years old and I haven’t been able to go out there because of everybody’s behavior please fix this place so I can go there in my younger years
They weren't breakers or Penn Staters, they were State Penners.
A lot of South Beach businesses closed for what used to be Urban Week, some even boarding up windows. These "dont come here" policies work. Ft Lauderdale was once the Spring Break capital of America & got tired of it too. Not really a primary destination today.
It will be interesting to see how the public safety crackdown affects future Spring breaks.

Some places they charge you now 300.00 to park and towing in San Francisco is 700.00 lol and don't mess with the foreign drivers there they have backup family members and they welcome a challenge,@😮

Lame AF this country is getting so soft it's ridiculous. I hate whoever implemented this. I'm working in the area right now and wanted to go to the beach for a sunrise on the Atlantic but i can't afford 100 dollar parking just to see the sun rise.
