she did the best masterpiece of this song. it covers the aspect of her hurt towards the man who doesn't care about her so the atmosphere is perfect at the end its happier because she escapes from him by using her power her words.
Although she is welsh and greek I see her as a londoner, her accent is amazing and I can easily imagine her living the life in London and going to all the markets and small shops etc :L
I actually believe that this version of Starstruck is better than Katy Perry's version. I also believe that Katy Perry would've been immensely proud of Marina for covering her song, making it her own and also pulling it off. There are plenty of songs out there. Some of them are just as good as the original versions, some of them aren't as good as the original and some of them are better than the original versions. This is one of those songs that's actually better than the original version, it's absolutely fantastic!
I love the original as well as this. But i think it would be better if she kept some of the energy of the original, but also add this "marina feel" to it. Kind of like homewrecker. Just my opinion though. I still love this!
People who comment saying the original is better have NO TASTE in music they don't care about the lyrics just the beat anything slow enough to hear what the singer is saying they don't like it really annoys me music is not JUST for dancing!
