I really love this cover by Dan! It always elicits a powerful emotional response for me. Dan is the vocal layering king, too. I love how he added layers one at a time with each new verse, starting as a single voice, then building up to five voices harmonizing and building in intensity in this beautiful song. For a non metal, folk like ballad, it just doesn't get any better! ❤
He does Son of Pain which is an emotional song for him as it relates to his dealing with depression after the loss of his father(so I have read). In one video he talks about and to people dealing with depression….Would love for you to react to Son of Pain…

You said he does country - I've never seen him do country (not that he couldn't). But I've seen him do Disney covers, opera, music from stage plays and movies, music from video games/tv shows, hymns, and of course pop and metal. Everything he touches is gold.
