It was 3AM I decided to take a walk alone. Whether was 73 degrees and I sat near the side walk staring and feeling so alone and empty. I wanted to cry so badly but not near the road so I walked very far till I found a park, sat on the swing, and broke right then and there. I didn’t want my parents to worry but they would’ve had all the reason to worry, didn’t want to let my family down even though I did about everyday, was meant to be successful, but all my work seeming to go in vein. All of it collapsing onto me in that moment… nothing can sink more into your own skin more than the words that are already in your brain sinking themselves deeper. Working it’s way like a virus and spreading till it fills up all your mind and it becomes all you are. Depression is vicious and deadly, and more than anything I just wanted to be held and comforted. As I sat on that swing someone walked up to me, thinking it was gonna be someone to talk to me. It was security there to escort me out. Sucked it up and walked out hoping every driver would be blind. Almost had that wish come true. Came back home on my bed sat about it and thought about it some more. 2 hours just sitting and looking at the floor while the thoughts ate away at me. Purely hateful thoughts. Too broken to break again. Eventually however I made my mind up rested and forgot about it all until today. To be honest things are better now, way better and I am way happier. Everyone must succumb to pain in order to know when the good times have arrived. They have. They will come for you too, so don’t cry and be strong, but you can’t no more. You are free and deserve most to be able to cry, so cry a little and rest.
