The usual sterile, repetitive, uninspired junk that we've become accustomed to expect, every time, from Glass. And this version, by that ludicrous poseur Max Cooper, is even worse than the original: God help us; God save us from this drivvel that contemporary man calls "art"!
we live in a sterile, repetitive western world. does that mean there can't be beauty in sterility and repitition? no. we don't live in an age of artistic discovery. we live in a formulaic, postmodern econo-society. it's ridiculous to expect art to diverge from that on account of nostalgia for Old Thing. Old Thing expressed the truths of its own time as much as contemporary art expresses the fungibility of its own time. you can sequester yourself away in your rose-tinted fart chamber if you want to. i prefer to recognize the state of the world as it is, and i enjoy, from time to time, a piece of art that reflects that.
poor Simon, you better adjust your requests to God. However, you can write your own music and if you are not able (who possibly you aren't otherwise you wouldn't criticised in such way) just skip

also, you spelled "drivel" wrong.
How is Max Cooper a "ludicrous poseur"?
