The Kat build is def a build that I’m going for. Lower some of the finishing stats and a tad bit of the shooting to possibly up the def just to my liking and I’m good for the year😎
It’s annoying that Ant Edwards’ build doesn’t have a higher strength or block because he does that all the time in real life, but with enough tweaks, it can be viable.

Yes you can tweak any of them with the customize build option. But if you don't tweak them you get all that players sigs even if the build doesn't met the criteria for them. Pretty cool deal
Drummond gonna be my choice. Similar to my build in 2k23 dominates the glass in 3v3 and 5v5 games would get double doubles in close to half of the games

I’d like to go 99 driving dunk and then mid 70’s for 3 and middy if I can afford it. With boosts PLUS the bonus from choosing the shooting affiliation, i think mid 70’s for shooting will be money in the park.
You can see bumping is guna be huge this year. My builds will have no steal and no block but will have high prim/interior def. with strength and vert. If I can't save points in not getting a block or steal but can apply enough pressure just to make me miss. Because my big man are doing full on Rodman

Don’t know why some people say they struggling to create builds, I use the 23 builder using 24 badge requirements for attributes and made a 6’10 build that can do everything but pass full court and defend perimeter but I’ll work on that in the builder (60 pass accuracy is not good but if your not throwing full court and have a brain you’ll be fine)
Because you can't just put in the same stats in 24 as you could in 23. The badge requirements are not the ONLY THING that changed this year, the "point value thresholds" have. An example would be to say it will cost you more overall to max out your perimeter defense or ball handling than it did last year. IE when people say the builder is "more restrictive" they also mean that you can't get a 1-for-1 total statage from year to year. You have to give up something.

In terms of just a fun build to use in park or maybe rec but not exactly a comp build is that Paolo one. I just think that it has great all around attributes and you could definitely manipulate the stats to make it a comp build.

After what I heard what Wang said about badges and watching many many builder videos I feel like HOF badges are not the way. Seems better to stay away from those thresholds but I guess we will see for sure in a few days. KAT seems off I has ratings. 2k always makes him more dominant than he really is, I’ve said for years he either has a family member or a huge fan as a dev.
I think badges are going to be dynamic even in game depending on how well you’re playing so if you’re playing well…you can active the hall of fame version of a badge for that particular game

If you're playing with a team, the Luka build can be tweaked to be elite... if you can play without speed, you can back down smaller guards and shoot over them. Easy choice
